We bought a used Crosstrek here a few years ago and had nothing but problems with it. After a number of attempts to fix it under warranty, we went over to Bellevue Subaru and had a really positive experience. We decided to give Carter Shoreline a second chance and much to our dismay it was lackluster at best. For sure the staff was pleasant and professionally courteous but the sales rep did not follow thru on our request to have our car evaluated for trade in. We waited and waited and after following up with the salesman, he told us we could do it ourselves using Kelly Bluebook. Fair but dont waste our time and take our keys leading us to think the car was being looked at. I wont go back here. I am sure others may have had a good experience but ours today left us dissatisfied. We have been a Subaru fam for some time and appreciate what we thought was quality. Much to our surprise, our purchase a few years ago, followed by some attempt at repairs here and now today's experience tells us that Carter doesnt stand for quality and good service. Good bye Subaru.

Update 3/15/24- the service manager got back to me today and Carter Subaru will be reimbursing me the cost of replacing the lug. Appreciated Tammy getting back to me, and being very pleasant and apologetic over the inconvenience. Like I said in my initial review, I was very happy with my service there initially, and since they had the integrity to take appropriate responsibility for the mistake made, I would again recommend using them for service. I went to Carter Subaru to have my Forester serviced back in November. They changed my oil and rotated my tires. I was happy with my service, until I went to get my maintenance done again this last week. I recently moved to TN, and so I took my car to a nearby Subaru dealership for servicing, and while I was there, they informed me that whoever rotated my tires last cross threaded the lug nut on the rear passenger wheel, and it cost me over $100 extra to fix the problem. Subaru dealerships are independently owned, so a new location will not freely remedy a problem caused by a separate dealership. I have tried calling Carter Subaru during normal business hours multiple times in the last 3 days to speak with a customer service manager and have left 2 voicemails, but have not gotten any contact back. Very unhappy with the lack of accountability over a problem they caused to my car. I take my car to dealerships for service to try to avoid incompetence, and it is very frustrating to have to pay extra money for a mistake they made while doing normal maintenance. Cannot recommend anyone have work done on their car there.

Met with Alexander Kessler to go over all the new electronic features for my 2024 Ascent, way different from my 2014 Outback! He took the time to walk through all the menu items and explained the different features and how they change the dynamics of driving. Thanks Alex!

Had a terrific half hour appointment with Alex Kessle yesterday. Bless his heart he spoke to me in a language I could understand. I felt free to ask the dumbest questions. I learned much more from my time with Alex than I ever would have gleaned from reading a manual. Alex is an informed, kind, respectful and funny human being. He is truly an asset to Carter Subaru. My Crosstrek Wilderness is the fourth car my husband and I have purchased from Carter. With people like Alex on their staff, we will continue our loyalty to the organization. Thanks to all of you. Carter Subaru did a great job selling us our new 2024 Subaru Forester Touring. We have been loyal Subaru customers purchasing a total of 11 Subarus in the past. Nancy Novak, salesperson, was very professional and accommodating. Alex Kessler, Love Encore Star Delivery Specialist, did a fantastic job demonstrating and explaining how to personalize features of our new car to our needs. Thanks for a JOB WELL DONE!!!

It's been almost a month now after purchasing a new Subaru Outback Wilderness at Carter Subaru Shoreline. Long enough to confidently say this was one of the best car purchase experience my wife and I have had in our 60+ years. The Outback Wilderness fits our wants and needs perfectly. Debbie Phillips was exceptional in guiding us through the process. Not pushy. Very supportive, providing tips/guidance that added value. Efficiently used our time. Kudos also to Dan in Finance who kept the process simple and provided a surprising/fair quote for the extended warranty. Chose to do 1st oil change before 1,000 miles and had great experience with the Express Service. Have to give special recognition to Alex Kessler who gave us a full hour answering all our questions and giving extra advice on getting the most from our Outback experience. His experience as a service technician was invaluable in giving us tips on staying on top of mainenance to improve odds of enjoying this Outback through our retirement. Planning to have a long relationship with Carter Subaru.

In the past, buying a car has never been something I look forward to. Debbie at Carter completely changed my perspective on this process. She listened and didn't push and that immediately made me receptive which ultimately led to me purchasing a car. She was so funny and so personable and made the entire process feel like a visit to a friend; what a gift she is. From the sales team to the finance department and ultimately, to Alex who walked me through all of my cars features, the experience has been wonderful. From the moment you you walk in, you become part of the Subaru Family.

We just gave our son our 2010 Outback and last month bought a 2024 from CARTER Subaru. Today, Alex Kessler at Carter went over our new car with us. he to talked about how to operate our new car and answer any questions we might have. Alex was so helpful and nice to talk with and showed us some of the new features our new car had.

I recently purchased a CrossTrek at Carter Subaru Shoreline from Alex Marks, who is amazing, and who set a follow-up tech appointment for me with Alex Kessler. I had a wonderful 30 min with Alex Kessler as he went over the tech for my new vehicle and answered the questions I had come up with in the two weeks since I had purchased the car. This tech appointment was time very well spent. Alex K is very patient and explains things extremely well. I would recommend that anyone who buys a car from Carter Subaru take them up on the 30 min tech appointment. It's awesome!
