I loathe the car buying process. The back and forth "negotiating" and such is not my idea of a good time. So, when my car was totaled by a reckless driver, I wasn't looking forward to having to deal with car buying again. But then I experienced Carter Subaru Shoreline. From the first email getting information until just today when I had a complimentary check in with their Star Delivery Specialist, Alex, the process was amazingly smooth and stress free. We worked with David North, who is their internet sales dude. He is kind and honest and very down to earth. Any question we had, he answered. We took a test drive and he trusted us to go off on our own to do so. His honesty was refreshing and his personality put us at ease. He truly worked WITH us to get me the car I truly wanted. The finance department was very open and transparent about what all our money was going towards as well as what additional add ons were and weren't necessary. They (and I can't remember the lovely human's name we worked with there) were efficient and kind every step of the way. David took the time to go over many of the features of my new Subaru Forester before we drove off the lot. He made sure we understood what everything did and gave us some helpful insight to how features worked. Today I had a phone meeting when Alex, who made sure I was comfortable with all the features of my car and let me ask any questions. It is a complimentary service Subaru offers and it was worth the half hour of time it took. He highly recommended keeping his number handy and shooting a text over with any future questions. So nice!If you are looking for a great car, awesome customer service, a pleasant experience and respect as a customer, I can't recommend them enough.

It is hard to believe that any Dealership could get a 5 start rating, but here we are. I've bought a few new cars over the years... and every dealership just is a horrible experience... except THIS. We have had our Subie for 4 years now, and it had been fantastic. The sales experience was easy, purchased for a fair price, knowledgeable reps, no hard sells or up-sells.... and that the showroom is nice and appealing.Then we get to the service. They have the nicest customer lounge I've ever seen at a dealership. It's comfortable and stocked with plenty of good, free snacks. The service advisors are amazing. They know their stuff and are 100% customer focused. You always know what is happening and when it will be done. They also find ways to fit you into the schedule, especially if you are having problems.The whole dealership and service just feels luxurious and humane... and sadly that is unique in car dealerships.

I bought my car at cater subaru Shoreline. The service was exceptional. Especially Alex. He spent an hour going over every detail about my car. He is the technology expert and knows these cars backwards and forward. u can see him anytime to ask questions well after u purchase your car. i have never had this type of service before by any other car dealership. i am sold on their Subarus. i bought a 2024 cross check sport.Also Rob was a great car salesman too. He wasn't pushy and when i got the car he went over stuff as well. never felt rushed. He referred me to Alex for further assistance. great group.

I accompanied my sister when recently buying a new car. This has always been a very stressful experience, but not this time. We were grateful to have Sasha as our sales person. He was wonderful. Patient, knowledgeable, and extremely respectful. Resolved all issues with a smile. I highly recommend Sasha at Carter Subaru if you are looking to buy a car.

I needed to purchase a car due to my other Subaru having been totaled in an accident. The folks at Carter Shoreline worked with me and my delayed timeline having to deal with the insurance company. Sasha was my sales consultant and did great with answering questions and prepping the car for delivery. This is my 4th Subaru and certainly not my last. Thanks to the friendly folks at Carter for making this a pleasant experience.

Great service department. I have been to both Carter's Ballard and Shoreline. Both provide excellent service, but Ballard seems way busier, - too busy at times! Ballard service phone rings and rings and rings whereas Shoreline gets answered within 5 rings.Today, after checking my fluids, my hood got stuck in a partially opened position & I simply couldn't get it to budge. I dropped in, explained the situation and they resolved it in 5 minutes. Basic oil change prices are competitive.

I have bought cars here over many years, and generally it was a fine experience.I have though used their service dept. for probably 30 years consistently.The work has always been just fine.The issue that I find CONSTANTLY though is that there is SUCH an intensity from the service advisor.I mean, talking 100 MPH, just super fast, and it's very uncomfortable to have a conversation like this.Not to mention that I press option 2, (to speak with a service advisor)Option #1 is a scheduler.1st person picking up (option #2). Again, is like on speed, 100 MPH, not letting me talk, had to interrupt multiple times, thank her for being there, but PLEASE slow down.After all this she says that they no longer can look up previous work orders, etc. (that sucks, but whatever)Just SLOW down.Then, she tells me she is not even a service advisor, ( I pressed option 2: service advisor)So, she transfers me to an actual service advisor.Also, last time there they made copy of my fob. But they didn't tell me that it wasn't programmed to start the car, what??This led to complete disaster with my passing key to family to drive the car.(Not good communication), probably because it was all done at 100 MPH conversation.
