Very overpriced. For example welding caps are $20 there. If you have the option I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere for supplies

John Mason didn't have to take all the time he did with me, to discuss what option was best for me on at least five different products and projects. He had the Saturday vibe VERY pleasant even when he was swamped all on his lonesome, three of us ugly buggers licking our lips. I'll be back, and truly John Mason is 77% of the reason why.

Great experience; I'm a beginner welder and came to the store to get a bunch of beginner questions answered, and John Mason was a tremendous help. He was welcoming, patient, and happy to take the time to explain the welding game and products that I'll need as I grow through the craft and profession. I'll definitely be back as a customer when it's time to start making equipment/tool purchases!

This is my favorite Central Welding Store, they are fast, friendly, reliable and helpful. I highly recommend John as he is very patient and takes time to go the extra mile, but honestly anyone on staff is kind and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things, totally worth the extra drive.

Exceptional customer service. I needed a Oxygen tank within a few hours. It was after a long weekend/holidays and it was an absolutely last moment thing. They understood the urgency and took care of it within 30 min. I can't thank them enough. Knowing the tanks, mechanics, cost of the tanks and maintenance fees are common sense in our professional field. So I never had an issue with them. Their rates are fair. But I never expected this amazing customer service. They are good!

The worst. I’ve bought oxygen several times from them, and for some reason, never paid the same price. Are they just charging whatever they want? Super sketchy. I usually give places a few chances before I decide if their service is terrible. Last week I went in to order a part I needed for a gas line, the man behind the counter said it would be a few days to arrive from their warehouse. I went in on Wednesday, he said it would be there on Monday. I went in on Monday, and they said the guy I ordered It wasn’t there, and to come back later. I called on Tuesday, and they told
Me they didn’t order it. I waited almost a week for a part, only to find out they didn’t order it. Terrible service. I’ve given them several chances and never had a good experience.

After reading the recent bad reviews, I made sure to call Praxair for pricing before purchase. Not only was the cylinder cheaper at Central, but the gas was included in cylinder purchase (Praxair charges separately for gas and adds a fill fee). I can't speak to other products, but post-tax cost for a small nitrogen cylinder here was literally 43% cheaper than Praxair. Both stores had very friendly and helpful employees, so I won't hesitate to call either again in the future.

If you like paying double standard pricing, please go to this store. I highly recommend either Praxair or the internet over this company. Both have routinely cheaper pricing, and much better customer service. Even in relation with high volume commercial accounts, this company has come up short for my needs time and time again.
