Just bite the bullet and go to the Starbucks 50 feet away - rude staff and price gouged $8 12oz coffee

Ordered a Strawberry Smoothie, a Mocha and three bottles of water. Simple and polite service with plenty of places to sit on a cold Tuesday. The Mocha hit the spot.

Fresh brewed coffee is a great way to keep me going. This place rocks.

Wow, the service is absolutely terrible! Management needs to pay attention to the employees they are hiring. Like the other reviews have said, the workers don't want to be there and serve you their overpriced coffee. Just go to Starbucks where you get a smile as soon as they see you!

High prices for mediocre smoothies and snacks, extremely slow service. Waited over 30 minutes for a smoothie, donuts and nuts were not warm.

Ordered the cappuccino. Pathetic taste, couldn’t taste beans at all. Save your money, buy from the Starbucks across.

Absolutely love this place! I've been multiple times and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Apart from the delicious coffee and selection of drinks, Ceres also sells some phenomenal roasted nuts and mini doughnuts (the chai latte and roasted pecans are my personal favorite). Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick and delicious refreshment. Will definitely keep returning!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! Staff was so welcoming and answered all my questions about the menu. They have a great selection of seasonal drinks and delicious mini doughnuts and roasted nuts. It’s a must stop if you’re looking for a quick refreshment after walking around the seattle center.

The only roasting this coffee shop does is roast its customers instead of its coffee. The service was extremely poor, and the baristas are rude. They are very unaccommodating to a someone who can't have sugar and gave us a hard time when asked for honey and also charged me an extra $1. They pride themselves on how diverse they are, but apparently, they only want to brew a coffee for you how they like it or how they think you should have it. In a day and age when every coffee shop offers many different kinds of options from the milk you use to the sweetener you take in your coffee, this is simply unacceptable.

Friendly service. She let us know that she was about to close at 6:30pm. We all ordered iced coffee. Not very much flavor and not strong enough. To be fair, we prefer smaller businesses (i.e. mom & pop shops) and we haven't found any good coffee in the Seattle area.

I just went to Ceres on a quick trip to the Armory and I have to say this was the BEST RBI I’ve ever had!!! So sweet and yummy ?. The customer service was awesome and even though I tried to order something not on the menu (peanut butter and banana milkshake), they were nice and suggested I get an RBI. Thank you Ceres!!

Do not get the ‘milkshake’s. We got three flavors and all of them were horrible. It was like a homemade slushy with maybe milk added? Definitely not ice cream and not creamy at all. My kid took one drink and said ‘not milkshake’ and handed it back to me.I can’t believe I paid $16.50 for two (my sister bought the third). They should advertise that they are not made with ice cream and are nothing like a milkshake. Milky icy slush would be a better description. The donuts are also pretty pricey, but they are decent. Just not worth the price.

5.29.23Waited in line for 2 minutes for two employees to finish their conversation about yesterday before my order was taken. While waiting I notice two people that were behind me getting their drinks. When I tried to let ”Them" know I was going to be back to grab my coffee they got very nasty and immediately gave me my made drink. I paid for a 20oz hot drink with light whip and received a half cup of coffee and a half cup of whip. I will never return and will spread the word. I'd give Starbucks my money before them!Coffee tastes like steamed milk with Carmel in it.Great reviews before 3 months ago, now it's all negative. New staff?

The worst coffee I’ve ever had in Seattle , I consistently come here because I work in the area and the baristas usually do a good job but whoever worked the Friday shift at 11:15 was extremely rude, burnt my coffee and over heated the milk on the latte. Charged me 9.03 for the worst experience I could’ve had at a cafe. They do discounts for the workers in the area but she denied me. The triple oat latte was so bad I couldn’t even drink it so I had to throw it away! At least I know I will never be back here while she is working!

I feel for these baristas. They deal with the rudest customers all day long. I've heard things like 'so you're stupid?' 'Is this why you're a barista?' 'Why won't you open NOW?!' I've watched people scream at these employees over nothing. And still they are polite and kind to me every time I stop by. They work extremely hard, during Folklife the line was so impossibly long and yet they kept their energy and worked efficiently. The drinks are great I love the lavender lemonade and the smoothies. This is my favorite place to come.Kid-friendliness: The staff are so cute with kids, they're always happy to make them hot chocolate with sprinkles!
