Chase has walled itself off from its customers. There is simply no way to speak with any Chase employee over the telephone at the bank branch or even in their New York base of operations . And while the website says they offer notary services to customers, they don't accept calls so it takes a trip to the bank branch to set up an appointment. In my case, when i got to the brank, a teller with an unkempt beard told me that there was no notary in the bank that day. They also train their tellers by throwing them in front of customers. There the tellers fumble around unable to carry out even the simplest tasks. It is ridiculous to staff the bank with new hires who can't yet function. 25 minutes for a simple deposit! I suppose the business plan is to make the service so bad that customers will start to use the ATM instead. If that's the plan, it ain't working for me.

I had my best bank experience here. The private client manager Mr. Lee is so wonderful and nice, explaining everything very detail. Highly recommend here!

I had my best bank experience in this chase bank branch. The account manager Mr. Lee is so welcoming that I feel privileged to be a chase customer. I definitely can see why this branch had 5 star. My experience was beyond perfect. Will definitely visit again, and very proud to be a chase customer.

Chase mortgage refinance process is a disaster. Chase currently holds my loan, I'm (was) a private client member, have top tier credit, good LTV - nothing that should hold up an application. Applied for refinance in May, almost 4 months later and still no closing. Just a lot of wasted time. I went elsewhere and recommend the same unless you want to pay too much for your loan and wait a long time to close. On top of that, I get charged a $500 fee for not delivering. Wonderful - thanks Chase! This review is directed at the refinance experience. Asides from that, the staff here are friendly and helpful for my other banking services.

Feel sad to give such a low rating as most of the folks are great but their mortgage refinance process is a disaster. Almost 4 months into a refinance and they are unable to close. They already own the loan and I am a private client member but over 3 months for a refinance? I went elsewhere and recommend others do as well.

This is a Cheap Bank and offer very poor services except for the account specialist because he tried. I opened a Sapphire Checking account thru the new account specialist for a $1000 cash bonus offer. He checked with his manager for the bonus and verified all my credentials, spent 45 mins and go thru all my personal informations and history. He assured me I qualified before I made a $75,000 deposit. About 10 days later, Chase sent me a letter to say they are closing my account for business reason, claim based on my Experian Credit report but they didn't say what on the letter. My credit score was 797. Curiously, I call Experian and order a credit report. I could not find any reason on the report that would jeopardized opening a Chase bank account. Experian representative went over the report and said it's Chase decision to decide who they want for business and Experian played and made no recommendation to banks. I have bank accounts elsewhere and have no problems. I went back to Chase with the report to my account specialist to see why. After many calls we couldn't get anywhere except to tell me it's the back office decision and he had no idea. I complaint to the manager but no resolution except it's the Chase business decision from the "Back Office." All that I can say is that Chase doesn't want to give out the $1000 bonus so they closed my account early to make me ineligible. The other reason I can think of is the Chase Private Client rep because I didn't sign up for his investment products. After two meetings, he presented with me with a portfolio that makes a meager 3 % return when my current portfolio makes 10 % ????? I have more to tell about Chase bank later. I lost my bonus and the interest I could have earned. Just plain Cheap.

I went to make a cash deposit for my wife into her account that I am not on. She is out of the country. Cash deposit. Cash. $150. I was asked if I had her card. No. She is out of the country. Deposit slip with her name and account information on it. I was told no because she was not there with her id. BUT I could deposit a check to her account with no id at all. Does this make sense? When she comes back we will do the new Tmobile banking. Weird

Without going into detail, David the manager and his staff handled some unusual, complex and delicate financial transactions for me in a completely competent and professional manner in one long sequence of events spanning several months. Bankers don't get any better than this, and I will always be grateful for their service.
