I would try a different branch. Tellers overly curious about what you intend to do with (your) money being withdrawn, seemed suspicious of me even.

I have found that the staff here at the Northgate branch to be helpful, friendly and their customer service is extraordinary

Went here to get some quarters for laundry and they were so friendly and helpful. Girl behind the counter was so kind and told me to come back soon. Will be my go to location moving forward.

The service of this bank and its employees is lousy. They are really incompetent people who don't make the slightest effort to provide service.

This bank has a lousy service arriving at the bank that was empty, the person in charge Lisa Bartone attended us after giving us a look of contempt, she told us that she could attend us 30 minutes later when the bank was empty, I think they should analyze the deal with the person in This bank because it was lousy!!!

extremely unprofessional teller with a very unhelpful branch manager who happened to be walking around the counter and then refused to help. They're the most terrible employees that I've ever encountered in the financial industry, especially with such a respected company.

Wish I can give 0 star. This branch is terrible and has no interests in serving customers. My online account was locked due to suspicious activities. I called fraud department and was asked to submit IDs to a local branch. So I went to closet one to my home. Then, the bank teller told me to call this fraud dept number again, and they didn’t know what to do. So I called fraud dept again. They apologized and admitted some bank tellers didn’t know how to handle this situation. Then, I went to a different branch in Alderwood Mall, problem solved.

Once upon a time customer service meant that if a business made a mistake they would do whatever it took to make it right - at that time on the spot. With Chase that apparently does not apply. We used to go into the lobby, sit down and then be waited upon when our turn came up. Now, you have to make an appointment - but they cannot be reached by phone at the Northgate branch. We've tried many times and the phone just rings. So we go in. We make an appointment and come back one week later at the appointed time. Our appointment cannot be found and all we get is an empty apology. We once would have been told that we'd be able to be helped in a moment and someone would have gone out of their way to help us because the bank made a mistake and we'd gone out of our way to be there on time. But no. Not any longer. No customer service. Just empty, meaningless apologies and incompetence. We're done with this branch. We've been with this corporate entity since the days when it was NB of C, then Rainier, then WAMU, then Chase. This is our reward for nearly 70 years of faithful banking with "them" Done.

As evidenced by the many one-star reviews, Chase is really not a very good company at all. That said, the tide may be turning. On my visit to this branch, teller Daren treated me with the utmost respect. He had a great attitude and was extremely helpful. Although this one VERY positive experience does perhaps not tip the scales for the whole organization, it’s sure did feel like the old WAMU days by making me feel that I was part of the “family” again.

A $10 fee is going to cost me $$$.I have an account with Navy federal but I got a new job and my first check didn’t go into direct deposit in time. No big deal I pull up to this chase because that’s who my employer banks with. I ask can they cash the payroll check if a I don’t have an account. There was a trainee and so her coworker (maybe manager) takes over and says yes they can they just need A, B and C. Also no problem I give them all the items they need. 3 minutes have gone by and the trainee comes and says it’s a $10 fee to cash the payroll check. Why didn’t they tell me that before I gave them all the information. I tell her no thanks I’ll take it Marysville (where my credit union is) but this lady heard yes cash it. So they cashed it!!!! What they failed to tell me is I would need a NEW payroll check in order to get my money!!!!! This is why hard working people prefer credit unions! Who would want to deal with this type of experience and ridiculous fee to cash a check that’s literally from them! I have to wait an entire week without my pay and my kids need to eat ! This may be a small matter to the people who work in this building but it’s my kids being hungry because I can’t cash my check anymore to buy groceries.
