Ordered special chicken thali, spicy level 4. Thali contained- chicken curry, vada, 2 parotas, some rice, lentils, rasam, sambar, chole (chick peas) curry, paneer matar(peas), mix veg curry, butter milk, curd and some sweet.I love so many things about this thali:1. There are enough items on the list to qualify for a fulfilling thali2. Most of the curries had a home made taste and flavour3. The portion sizes. Not only is the thali on the whole very filling for one person, the curry portions vs rice/parota portions are well balanced. I had some left over curries which NEVER happens in Indian dishes at restaurants; it’s always the other way around ?Moving on to the cons:1. Matar Paneer (or butter paneer ??!): It was too sweet and there was hardly a spoonful of serving.2. Butter Milk: It’s not the kind of masala butter milk I was expecting. There was too much pepper. There was hardly 30ml of serving and I couldn’t even finish it.3. Sweet: They served kheer and I was disappointed with the 30ml serving.Overall, I think this is a pretty good place to try out Indian food. Plenty of vegetarian options too. Hand wash is available right OUTSIDE the bathroom

Chili’s is a very cute little restaurant that feels like a home. The service was amazing, and all the employees were very attentive. It’s a special place on the ave.We ordered several thalis, and the portions were perfect. Only thing I’d suggest is an overview of what you’re receiving for people who are not well versed in Indian food. The paneer dish was my favorite.During dinner, they were shooting pictures for new menu items. They then went around to everyone and gave free samples of what they were taking pictures of. She was so excited and sweet.I’ll definitely be back.

Terrible food. Mysore masala dosa and chutneys have no flavor except for red chili powder. Sambhar was mostly just water with no flavor. Worst South Indian food I have

Food - Very blend. No taste at allAtmosphere - Table size is extremely small. Not enough space to keep a dish and a bowl properly on the table. If you are Indian then please don’t come to this place because it doesn’t cater to Indian taste buds.

DO NOT COME HERE. If you want to have South Indian food like dosa etc. then this is not the place for you. Since they are located in University area, they try to appeal to non-Indian taste so that they can attract people from other countries. Dosas had no taste at all. Table size is also very small so very bad dine in experience. This place is not meant for Indians to dine in as they fail to even remotely relate to South Indian taste. Only come here to eat if you haven't got any taste buds.

This spot is amazing for vegetarians. First time in yesterday with my wife and it's our new favorite. Vada, Dosa, and chili paneer were perfect Our server and other staff had the best vibes too.

Got the Coconut Lamb Curry to-go, very delicious. $23 for 2 full portions is a okay price. Will come back again.

Great place for authentic South Indian food. Local business owners who focus on quality of food than fancy ambience.

They almost killed my girlfriend. I'm serious. We've been here a few times before and the food is fine. However, my girlfriend has a severe nut allergy, which she told the staff about. They gave her a meal that had cashews as a main ingredient. She is in the emergency room going through anaphylaxis right now because of the staff's negligence. The woman at the counter didn't even apologize when we showed her the contents of her meal and realized what had happened. I have never left a bad review anywhere before but this is just absurd. Do not go here if you have an allergy.

Really love this restaurant for its authentic Southern Indian food and the enhanced spices of the food!I got the Mango Chicken Curry with Mango Lassi and my boyfriend got the Masala Dosa. Both dishes were rich in flavor and spices. The Masala Dosa was filled with potatoes and it was pretty spicy. It was also served alongside a little soup and two sauces. Those paired nicely with the Dosa. The Mango Chicken Curry was served in a tin bowl with the paratha and basmati rice on the outside. The paratha was very nice and flaky, which tasted well with the curry. This is technically my second time going here since 2021 and the food is very consistent. I remember the first time I came here I got 5-star spice, that was my mistake. Learning from that experience, I got 3-star spice this time and I definitely had a pleasant time afterwards.Overall, restaurant is nice and cozy and I didn't really have a bad experience with the servers, but one of the servers accidentally mistook me for another customer and apologized for there being peanuts (there was not peanuts in my food).

This place has the best south indian food in seattle. Idli, dosa, vadai and sambar are always popular. There are a lot of dishes from Kerala cuisine, which are must try dishes. They can be slow in their service when the place is busy. They do Onam Sadya too.
