“I was raised in the heart of Seattle Washington. And I was taught to work hard, and take care of your family. Recently I suffered from heart failure which led to heart surgery. Thank GOD I'm still here. But my point in this conversation is that I'm unable to longer work, and although I wish I could fend for myself, it's not that way anymore. I want to reach out to the establishment (church), Pastor, staff ( Ricky Stuart), and the whole Mt.Zion team for not sometimes but always being there in dire times, through prayer, leadership, and support. Thank You GOD and continue to bless MT. Zion...”

“Beautiful church and beautiful couple the 1st lady and her husband are. It breaks my heart that my 1st time here was for a funeral of a relative last week. The message the pastor spoke is from the heart and I hope we can all do better loving each other while we have the time to do so.”

“I came in just to pray. Ashley was incredibly kind, and asked me for a join in prayer in her office. She was openly more than concerned and acknowledging of her ministry, and heard me out despite me never being there before. I've had similar experiences in other churches as of recently, and I'm proven correct again that God wants women leading in the church. I hope I can make it to service sooner than later!”

“It's kinda weird that I, a secular pagan, spend 10 hours a week here, but that's because this church seems to really just love people. I only ever see them take care of people and accept them. They lend their soace to the Rainbow City Performing arts, an LGBT music nonprofit, practice here constantly with only support and enthusiasm. That's how I've come to know them over the last couple of years. Not a single time have I felt judged or even asked to change. I wish more churches were like this.”

“Excellent architecture, recalling the aid members of the Meeting gave to Hiroshima after World War II. Great for silent meditation, especially with the view of the trees ?.”

“So nice that it is not a radical left church. They want to be inclusive and listen to the disenfranchised and promote Christian ideals in those areas, but their main goal is preaching the Gospel and teaching from the Bible. We felt out last church decided teaching radical wokeness was more important than Biblical doctrine. Where those 2 things came into conflict, wokeness won. That is not the case here. The pastors know the people from our last church, and praise their good points, but Biblical doctrine wins out here.”

“I see the work this church is doing to house well over 100 refugees in a crisis. The work they're doing is truly thankless and never-ending. I know neighbors think it is an eye-sore, but I'm proud to know that if I were ever in need, that there are humans in my neighborhood that care enough and will give so much of themselves to help out. The members of this organization are some of the best of us and I hope that they can get more attention and resources to help these people find permanent housing. Bless you all and all that you do! Keep fighting!”

“SFBC is a member of the Council of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists. Everyone is welcome here. From the inclusive training to the inclusive small groups to the inclusive music and inclusive sermons. SFBC removed patriarchy from Christian texts, seeks to remove antisemitism and instead leaders use nonbinary references to God. I love it and am so grateful to have found a place that embraces my values!! Please come see for yourself. All are welcome here!”
