I booked my room at Columbia Motor Inn on a Wednesday night after I discovered my cheap AirBNB room wasn't someone's spare bedroom, but a tiny windowless room in the basement of a house with a dozen or more guests—I couldn't sleep there. I'm glad I was able to stay at Columbia instead!
Sure, maybe this motel is a little rough around the edges, but the price was right, the night clerk was friendly, my room was clean and felt safe, and I got a good night's sleep. Aurora is a busy street but I wasn't disturbed by any noise. I could tell this is a place where the staff takes pride in their work, and it was just what I needed!

Rooms are surprisingly big. Nice, hot showers, good beds, close to a lot.

This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy and the mattress was extremely firm. The only positive experience I had was with the staff, they were very kind and friendly.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Felt clean and safe, unexpected for area. We asked if we could park our car in their lot for the day after check out and they even offered to keep our stuff in their office while we were gone. I was touched by the care that was put into the stones in the garden and the health of the plants. It’s nothing fancy, but would come again.

Had one very minor issue, but it was comfortable, and affordable. Loved that face of the mini fridge with a freezer.

I like it, it's clean and quiet for the most part no bed bugs no mold clean sheets clean bathrooms what more do you want.

It's really out dated and it could use a good thorough top to bottom cleaning with some extra attention in the showers/bathtub as well as the walls and some other areas that have been neglected over time and maybe some new blankets too. But for it being a cheaper motel on Aurora ave it's actually not too bad. Andrew and Jerry who work the front desk are great they are very nice and helpful. They make it a much better experience overall.

Despite making my reservation on short notice, I was able to get a simple, solid room that was perfect for a couple nights of good sleep. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if you need a place to rest for the night.

I am rating a 5 star based on the price being one of the best in the Seattle area.
Rooms are clean and nicely done. Although this isn't a top place they really tried to make the stay nice.
Friendly staff and amazing price.
Improvements: microwave didn't quite work. Needed to just press the 30 min button to get the right amount of time.
Mini fridge was cold though
- Bathtub needs drain plug. So many motels don't have these.
Definitely stay here if you are looking to pay some of the cheapest prices in the area and not feel disgusting afterwards.
