my partner’s honest rating is a 4 for the tofu yakisoba—the dish was just okay. the flavor of char and more sauce was missing, but they definitely don’t skimp on the tofu!
in contrast, the chicken teriyaki here is super flavorful. i tried both the spicy and the non-spicy chicken teriyaki, and both have a good balance of sweet and savory. the spicy chicken teriyaki is great for anyone who wants a low heat profile. i asked for no rice since i was going to eat out again later, and the fresh, creamy salad was a nice contrast to the smoky, spiced chicken.

Their spicy chicken teriyaki specifically is the best teriyaki I've had in Seattle. I used to work in the area and would come here 2x per week. But now that I no longer work there, I hadn't eaten here for almost a year. I was in the area the other day and popped in to grab some spicy teriyaki w/ fried rice and about cried because it was so good. It is around $18 I think, but the portions are nice and you could definitely squeeze two meals out of it (I did not because I have no self control)

The spicy chicken teriyaki is so, so good. I've been coming to Seattle a few times a year for work, and have tried several teriyaki spots since I heard it was a specialty here. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a review because it is really amazing. Cooked to order, the perfect amount of spice, charred but juicy. The rice was the right texture, the salad was crisp and fresh. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The quality of food there never ceased to amaze me. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and the taste was very delicious. It was worth the price I paid for a takeout.

Great menu selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. Lots of convenience items and snacks. I didn’t see any liquor but they sell beer and wine, including bottled wine. Seems like a family owned and operated business, very nice people.

This place might just look like a nondescript convenience store tucked away inside a parking garage but it’s so much more than that. Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Seattle. Don’t doubt it and stop in.

Big portions of teriyaki at this family run shop. Convenient store items also sold here. Walk up counter to order food with an area for sit in eating as well. Fast service and super fresh.

We were looking for a conveinent store near our hotel, stumbled upon this place. They have reasonably priced Japanese food. Teriyaki, white rice, gyozas and salad all only 14.99. We have a place called Mimojis near our home....this little hole in the wall is 100 times better than Momijis!!! If your looking for delicious food at a good price, check this place out!!And it's a convenient store too.

My personal pet peeve: A good amount of items do not have price tags. For example, the water in the fridge by the entrance.
I ended up paying $5 for a 24 and a 34oz arrowhead water. The price is totally fine in a city.

I have no complaints about Community Grocery. At first, I was a bit put off by the $14 price on the Chicken Teriyaki, however when I got home and opened the box, the portion was huge! Even more than I thought I'd get for $15 after tax. The picture I have is after I had eaten a few bites. The food itself was hot and very delicious. I would recommend this place!
