The instructor Lindsey C is very rude. In 2 different occasions her behavior was unacceptable, the first time about a month ago, she was unkind to me and my friend who joined for a class. Lindsey was disrespectful during the resgistration process. The second incident, she denied us access to the building eventhough one student came a couple minutes before the class and i arrived right on time. Her attitude towards the situation was just wrong.I wouldn't recommend this studio.

First yoga class ever (Level 1) and Melania was wonderful. I lucked out and began my yoga journey on 8/8 (Lions Gate Portal which is cosmically powerful for new intentions/manifestation) which Melania shared with us all. The class was challenging to a newbie, but accessible. I definitely felt tension relieved and got a good sweat in with the sequences. Some of the holds were for, let's say, more limber peeps, but modifications were offered. On the whole, a great intro and I look forward to my next class in a few days with more knowledge.

Capitol Hill is a great spot. Clean and inviting. It’s on a corner and not what I expected to see the lockers upstairs. I enjoyed the entry way which made me gasp with envy. Then I took the C2 class with Erica. GO! Amazing flow with clear instructions. It was a tough routine and enough of what I needed while I was on vacation.I was thankful for her energy and routine

I grew to love it! They offer first week free. Take advantage of it! The first class we took was unexpectedly hot and demanding so I am glad I continued to explore. I grew to love the heated studio and all the instructors, and now can't wait to go there every day. Candlelight series in the dark is my abst favorite.

My husband and I both go here a few times a week and just love it. It's consistently a great mental and physical challenge with lots of options. Some classes are designed to be beginner level so we can just really focus on form, others like sculpt are a great workout, and c2 is my favorite for a solid flow. I love the heated options and enjoy all of the instructors! They all have their own unique style so you just have to go a few times and find the class/insteuctor that best suits what you're looking for. Thank you!

This is not yoga, it's aerobics.. The teachers do not give very thorough yoga cues, which is really dangerous and can result in injury or making injuries even worse. They don't offer a lot of modification poses either. Not a fan.

Teacher was awesome. I mean what a class, I should say I got shaken by the calmness and intensity both coming together.

I heart this studio so much. The lead instructor Joe B who teaches C2 classes and Sculpt is AMAZING!! He brings such good energy (and awesome music), and he pays great attention to his students well during the class (which is not what all instructors do) for tips and adjustments. I initially signed up just to take his classes.Other instructors (Pamela, Jessica, Roger, Noel, Jay) are also great and very open to take questions and feedback. I really enjoy taking classes there! The facility is kept nice and clean, overall it’s one of the best yoga studios I’ve gone to ?♥️

Instructors and staff are nice. Just it gets overbooked sometimes and becomes over crowded====Updated, just to reply to comment====It would be great to follow the fire code standards : ) 3 weeks ago, I attended a class and felt more crowded than usual. I checked with instructor after and she told me it got overbooked that day. I dont remember the exact numbers but it was 3 or 4 people more than the limit.

CorePower Yoga is a seedy massage parlor and has nothing to do with yoga. Sexual Harassment and abuse of customers, stalking intimidation, teacher training fraud and racist behavior are acceptable business practices at CorePower yoga. CorePower is a scam and the teacher training is the money maker and they try any means necessary. August 2022, last week I attended a class that was supposed to be a teacher training preview or some BS that they labeled as explaining solar plexus or chakras by Joe B. He had no clue what he was talking about, making up lies and false statements and it was evident why CorePower Yoga preys on people with little to no previous exposure to yoga. At another class at Capitol Hill recently Dana W was just plain rude and micro aggressive. Sexual Harassment and abuse, stalking and intimidation are serious crimes and even more disgusting when people are victimized at a yoga studio by an instructor Lee M. Enabling, assisting and supporting sexual harassment by people like Johnna W is equally illegal and criminal. CorePower should not be hiring predators like Lee M based on their close personal relationships with enablers like Johnna W. Lee M and Johnna W used to hold up classes so that each other could attend. Both these sociopaths ( and others like Lauren G ) get free classes for life so customers have to be exposed to their antisocial behavior constantly even if they are not teaching. Lee M held up a class full of 30 people for a full 15 minutes so that his Queen Johnna W could attend. He specifically told me when I asked why the class was delayed that he would not begin the class until and unless Johnna W arrived. Later it became evident Lee M and Johnna W had preplanned to sexually harass and stalk a woman customer in the class that day. I made a complaint about this but management ignored it and didn't even write it down. in May 2018 in an evening class Lee M slapped a woman with a heavy yoga mat towel because she refused to interact with him. In April 2018 and September 2019 racist Lauren G deliberately threw a heavy object at customer of color that she didn't want to take class at CorePower. Like Lee M, she seems to think that throwing heavy objects at people she doesn't like will intimidate them or will make people do what they want. October 2019 Lee M stalked a woman to class, took up a position behind her in class to sexually harass her for an entire hour, stalked her to woman's locker room and when she was trying to leave the studio tried to grope her and stop from leaving. Since when did a predator like Lee M start inventing his own physical adjustments like rubbing against a woman claiming to help to twist better or massaging lower back between shoulder blades in halfway lift position or massaging the tailbone ? Why do people like Dominique L, Lee M, Johnna W, Briana K, Lauren G give advice about Be Kind and Compassionate and claim to be the next civil rights leaders when they exhibit racist behavior themselves? At CorePower you will get different versions of Lee M, Johnna W, Dominique L, Briana K ( or her previous incarnation Bri K ) Lauren G and other members of Lee M's harem like Elena M, Alyssa D and so on at any point in time. I would not recommend using the women's locker rooms for changing clothes because I don't think the locker rooms are safe with these women around.

The classes are reliable in terms of getting a solid workout. It can be vexing how infrequently their doors are locked and how strict they are re when the doors are open and shut, especially given how lax they are and have been re masking and Covid procedures in general. I guess I'll shop for yoga wear and gear elsewhere.

Core Power Yoga has refuses to communicate or honour a contract to pay models. Images from said photoshoot are being currently being used for marketing purposes. This is a company without integrity.
