I am a Costco fan. Good products. Good service. Good prices. Good company. Good gas and car wash. No surprises. Do not understand why they allow people to bring dogs in.

Typical Costco store. The staff is great. Pharmacy staff is super friendly and attentive. Lots of checkout counters and self checkouts as well. The only Costco closest to seattle. Also like the fact that they have car wash and free air dispensers for car tires. Ample amount of parking available in the premises. Would recommend this Costco.

I’m not sure who I spoke with over the phone at the pharmacy. When I mentioned being completely out of a medication (because of the lack of medication in other pharmacies) the response I got was a chuckle continued with “well I’ll put the order in but you’ll have to wait till Monday.” I do understand there are medication shortages, short staffing, overwhelmed staff, etc..Please be mindful of who you are hiring in that department.

I like coming to this Costco as they have car wash that you can buy when you fill up the gas. The goods and service here are consistent with other Costcos. There is sweetened beverage tax as this is in Seattle.

Always available on the phones. Very good about same day filling when possible. I don’t know why the reviews here are so bad. Yes the lines are long but really it’s one guy who takes forever. Everyone else is awesome.

Just moved to Seattle and requested an out-of-state rx transfer. Was prepared for hassles and lots of paperwork issues. Instead they had it filled and ready in one hour. Other pharmacies are lucky to do that with already on file prescriptions. I was impressed.

Line is always super long because there’s only ever one person checking people out. Takes an hour just to get any medication.

Susan is incredible. Every time I see her when I’m picking my prescriptions up she is so sweet and funny and just a delight to work with

Just called to confirm they had medications for ADHD treatment. I understand there is a shortage on Adderall hence calling to check this week to see if an order / shipment came. Adrian, the Pharmacy Tech without skipping a beat LIED to me on the phone saying they didn't have anything in stock that they are backordered for 3+ months. This was after not even 5 seconds prior my bf calling them for the same thing and being told that they had it in stock. When I mentioned this to Pharmacist Tech Adrian he quickly changed his story put me on hold and went to check with the pharmacist. So, in conclusion when you call them to verify if your prescription has been received, and you get Pharmacy Tech Adria, immediately ask for the pharmacist because he will lied to the face without even checking first what the case may be for stock. For ADHD diagnosed like me, i would not recommend going here at all to fill the prescription because they tell you automatically that they are out 5 seconds after confirming they do and that the reason they are out is to make up for all of the order from the last 4 mo that of backdue prescriptions. So it's not even worth it to have your doctor put the request in here because it will just be a neverending line of waiting for meds to be filled out when there are other pharmacies in the area that could have your Adderall requests. I am not at all happy with this location and quite frankly pisses at being lied to and then being fake apologized to because they just cannot keep up with the demand or even in this case attempt to try to or be understanding. Adderall literally is something to help people with ADHD function and Pharmacist Tech Adrian cannot seem to grasp that concept at all. No sympathy at all. Just lies to your face. No remorse.

The cost of medications seems less expensive. However, phone manner of their associates really sucks. I could feel their poor attitude over the phone.

I frequent this Costco and have never had a bad experience here over the past 6+ years. I have ordered many pairs of glasses and sunglasses here- never had an eye exam on site but bring my prescription in. All the glasses have lasted a long time and are fitted well, and affordable w/o insurance coverage. Love their staff in this department they're very kind and helpful. I'm surprised to see the bad reviews! We always order a pizza on our way out, affordable yum yums for the family. Having frequented this Costco I know where everything is which saves me overall time on shopping trips. We usually hug the outside of the store to avoid the chaos of the two main center aisles and it helps streamline the Costco experience. Fruit/milk/diapers/tp and OUT. I've been to the Tukwila location which is much bigger- seems like they cater to restaurants as there's tons of the big bulk items. Still prefer SoDo because it's familiar and easier for me to navigate, usually the parking lot is pretty full but if you just walk a bit there's always parking.

I purchased a sandwich platter on September 11,2022 from the Costco on 4th Ave S Seattle ,Wa for my birthday celebration. To my surprise it was literally covered with DOG HAIR. I had the first sandwich, took a bite and saw a piece of Dog Hair stuck between the bread and the meat. I examined the platter and it was literally covered with Dog Hair inside/outside the container. There was Dog Hair sticking out from the side, bottom, inside the container literally everywhere. I had Dog Hair on my refrigerator shelf where the container was. This was so Gross and sickening as I will never shop at this location ever again. Makes me wonder how much Dog Hair actually floating around the Deli products, fresh Meats etc. Returned it to the store and the customer service employee was shocked to see the amount of hair she observed, that she apologized several times stating how unacceptable it was. She called management they refunded the money and he didn't seem to concerned or apologize for my inconvenience.

This is the second time I have been asked to show my ID and Costco card for verification. The first time was a month ago at the Tukwila store. There was a few people ahead of me. The gentleman right before me had 9 bottle of wine. The cashier did not ask him for ID. Then proceeded to ask me. I asked her if she had carded anyone else and she said to my face, even though I witnessed the fact that she had not, that she had asked the previous customer for his identification. I went to the customer service counter after my transaction and expressed my discomfort concerning this incident. I was told i could talk to a manager which I did. I was told by the manager that he was sure that the cashier had not meant anything negative by it even though they had not even said a word to the cashier and was sent on my way. Today I was in the self check out at the Seattle 4th Ave store. I was purchasing alcohol. I was approached by an associate and asked for my ID. Then I was asked for my Costco card. The one I had already scanned at the self check out. I showed both and asked if she had asked anyone else for there ID. She said yes and that was policy and that another woman had come in earlier and her card did not match her ID. So does that mean I fit the description. I stood for a few minutes after she walked away and video taped several people buying items and never asked for their ID. I then watched one person purchase alcohol right behind me and only get asked for ID. I went to what appeared to be a person in charge and asked what the policy was. They did not seem to know. I explained what had happened and was asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. I did not. What good would it have done. You all need to do some sensitivity training and now. I live less then a mile away from this store and I am there at least three or four times a month. I am single and I don't have kids I don't need this subscription or microaggressions. I just think given the current political climate these stores and this company should be making sure that folks are being treated equitably. I was the only person of color in both lines in both incidences.
