Marvin helped me complete my registration over the phone to ensure I secured the unit I needed. Overall very helpful support staff and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
Seems like a high pressure sales job and like their employees are probably paid unlivable wages. Overall would have been a far more enjoyable experience if I didn't feel the corporate greed bleeding through the lines of the lease agreement. Be careful reading the lease agreement and show your own proof of renters insurance.
Haven't seen the unit yet but I'm grateful this is a reasonably affordable storage unit.

BEWARE. Predatory leasing practices.
Raised rent 50% (from $120/month to $180/month) after three months of being there. No reasoning other than ‘careful consideration’. But you can infer their intentions based on the behavior.
Anyway, you can’t even access your stuff most hours of the day. Never heard of that before. This place sucks and I can’t wait to get out.

Nice and friendly, easy to set up and got everything I needed done online and was able to access right away. The manager was there if anything didn’t work out and was very helpful.

These guys are absolute criminals. I signed a lease for my storage unit for a rate of $78, and now 2 months into my lease they have informed me that they reserve the right to raise my rent without notice, and have suddenly raised it to $128 a month. I am absolutely appalled and will be moving my items out if they do not amend this. Also— I measured my 5x10 unit, and it was actually 5x8. When I told the receptionist this, she refused to believe me. I told her their measuring tape must be broken. Do not store with them!!

Typical predatory leasing tactics. New tenants beware, your rent will increase close to 2x a few months after you move in. The 1/2 off special + “reasonable” monthly rent is a tactic to get you in the door, and they’re banking on you not wanting to go through the headache of moving your stuff once settled in and to just accept the price gouging.
I’ve been a tenant since 2020 and it’s a shame to see. I’d be more accepting of the situation if their new lease pricing was honest in setting an expectation of how much rent will be, but this tactic is a clear indication that their budgeted rents are too high, resulting in this predatory bait & switch behavior.
SecureSpace you can save yourself the headache of responding to my review suggesting I reach out to your office. You paid too much for the takeover of the previous owner. That sucks, but you’ll continue to bleed occupancy for the time being.
EDIT - lmao, y’all have the nerve to follow up your 60% rent increase with an automated email announcing a new referral program? You west LA people are so tone deaf & clueless.

Watch out for them. Within 4 months, they will increase your rent by close to 67%.
