Cupcake Royale is my favorite cupcake shop in Seattle!The customer service is great and the clerks are always friendly to me. The atmosphere is very hip but also very casual and is a great place to meet up with a friend. It has a very coffee shop type of vibe.They serve cupcakes, coffee, and more! I have purchased several types of cupcakes from Cupcake Royale. All of them have been delicious. I especially love “the gay” cupcake and the red velvet cupcake. They are very good, tasty, and absolutely delicious. The cupcakes go great with ice cream as well.The cupcakes are a little on the pricey side, but they are a smaller business, not a national corporate chain, and they do produce high quality cupcakes, so the higher prices are to be expected, and well let’s face it, it’s Seattle and everything is high here.I highly recommend Cupcake Royale if you are looking for some delicious cupcakes!

My partner and I have gone in twice. We have also left feeling disappointed twice and, frankly, just kind of bummed.We have gone in looking for a sweet and coffee after visiting the market but both times the servers have responded curtly and rudely when we have either ordered the wrong size or entered the line from the wrong direction. As someone who has been in the service industry for many years, I know it can be a rough job but both times there wasn’t even a line.In a neighborhood with plenty of options with even better cupcakes, I had hoped service would have changed. It hadn’t. Choose a different option when you’re in west Seattle.

I absolutely adore these cupcakes. The cake is perfect denseness and the frosting is sweet but not overwhelming like many others. I have tried many cupcakes and these are my favorite. I don't live close to a Cupcake Royale location, I live in South King County, so when I stop in, it's because I'm in the area or it's a special treat. Recently I was extremely disappointed to find out that they no longer have discounted cupcakes at the end of the day. Each cupcake is about $6 a piece so they are generally out of my budget at full price. Especially when the family wants to enjoy one too. Sadly I probably won't be back due to this change. If the owner ever decides to reconsider this new policy, I'll definitely return.

I spend way too much money here, not because it is expensive (it isn't especially) but because it is SO GOOD! The people that work here are so friendly too! My go to isn't even a cupcake, I can't get enough of the Salted Caramel Cupcake Ice Cream Affogato! And they are on the TooGoodToGo app so I get to save money on their yummy cupcakes! I smile whenever I open the door here!

I try not to eat all the icing but it was good. Moist cake but I prefer denser take and less sweet.

Redeemed my birthday cupcake reward here and the worker was so rude. She didn't even say happy birthday to me. Won't be back here again and I don't recommend this place.

Thanks for having a Vegan option. It was a hit for my vegan friends, they loved it. They were also a hit for my non-vegan friends. As usual, Cupcake Royale delivers! Thank you!

These cupcakes are actually as delicious as they look! The "cake/frosting ratio" is perfect and remains constant til the last bite.

I got some to give away. They didn’t put the dividers/inserts to put the cupcake steady. One fell over and I had to stand it upright and looks like it got eaten some. I was too embarrassed to give this to somebody else.

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for this store. I booked too good to go and didn't come on time. I understand I should follow the rules, but I had some delays. I'm really unhappy on the store's attitude. They could have just give me some small deduction for the money I paid. Instead nothing. So giving them 1 star for my lost money is very reasonable. Will never come back.
