I absolutely love this pharmacy they have been instrumental in helping my father stay alive by assisting with my Dads JAKAFE prescription it is 20.000 dollars a month and insurance only covers a portion CVS has helped me understand how to secure other funding to cover the remaining amount and the medication has been nothing short of a fantastic so far .I could never Thank them enough for their assistance.

I HATE THESE PEOPLE. if i could have any other pharmacy for my HU i would have it at this point. they cant do billing correctly, they dont get meds out on time. 1 star rating is honestly too good and google needs to allow 0 star rating for POS companies like this one

They fill my Rx and give me reminder calls which helps but what I love most is that they will deliver my Rx to Alaska and take the insurance I have Denali care.

I have used CVS since my doctor sent the script for my anti rejection drugs 3.5 years ago. For the first year everything seemed to work, no problems. They would call once a month to confirm my address and ask how soon I needed them. Great until they didn't call one month. I waited a few days, worrying. Finally I called them. It seems the tech who calls me was on vacation. No passover or follow thru, they just forgot me. I have medicare and a supplemental ins to keep the costs down, so there has never been a bill. The supplemental ins is there to cover co-pays for docs and meds. Never charged because I pay for the backup. this month a tech called to confirm, but, she said there a $181.00 copay this time. I said no there isn't because... She said maybe it's new this year, trying again to get the $181. I said no thanks, i will check with my ins. And if it is true I will pay. So my ins said I was covered. So call back to CVS, now they say that the charge was a mistake. I told her not to try to steal from me again. And am still steaming. How many people did she make this 'mistake' with? Did they fight back, or pay?

Terrible at keeping prescriptions in order and refilling on time, the company has only one number to call for any issues my nurse has been persistent and that’s the only thing that has been helping. I can’t imagine how this program is still running. There are many people definitely older than myself who NEED medications and cannot get online to sort all this out. If I could access my prescription any other way I would.

Terrible. Good luck getting them to do anything about literally anything, or even care. Worst specialty pharmacy I’ve worked with so far.

been trying to get my prescription for a month now, these guys have horrible communication, horribly organized, they cannot seem to communicate properly with my doctors office. I have never been so furious with a company in my life,

CVS specialty is awful, they make it easy to get an initial prescription but god forbid you need a refill on anything. I have an ongoing prescription I need, my company MAKES me use this pharmacy, I don't have a choice. My doctor sent in my prescriptions so I would have all the refills I needed for an entire year. The initial prescription and even the first refill were easy to get. Then when I went to get my next refill I went online and it showed it was discontinued. I called to find out why it was discontinued and had to explain to THREE different people including a pharmacist WHY I needed my prescriptions. Once I explained to three people why I need these medications they finally rewrote my script for me so I could refill it. I mean, really????

Pathetic service...my doctor submitted a request Dec 21 for a critical medication...after calls every day for 6 days (where they told me it was in transit) they admitted on Dec 27 that they neglected to actually fill the request. They said they filled it Dec 27 and promised delivery by Dec 28. Sadly I got no medication on Dec 28, so I called. They were "so sorry" and promised delivery by Dec 29...you guessed it...no show. So I called again...they said it was shipped and the carrier would deliver by special courier no later than Dec 30...and...no show again! Rinse and repeat for Dec 31, Jan 1, and Jan 2. On Jan 3 they admitted it was lost in transit (dah!) So they promised (yeah right!) that it would be delivered by Jan 4...rinse and repeat. Every call was finger pointing at someone else...not sure if/when it will show up...like I said...pathetic!

Always seems to be losing my insurance despite me never have changing it for a year now. Frustrating. Accredo was easier to deal with it and they were also considered bad but not like this. They keep asking for my insurance ID regardless of me having the SAME insurance for a year now.

GO ELSEWHERE!! Fair warning... I tried for over a month to get my medication. They would set it up saying it was out for delivery and then call the next day saying there are problems. I went over a month trying to get my medication and NEVER got it. They lie when you talk to them over the phone and do not do what they say they are going to. My insurance switched from Aenta to this mess?? I switched insurance to avoid ever having to do business with CVS again. Horrible.

I've been getting one if my medications through CVS specialty for a year now but had to go back on a medication I was on a Year ago but stopped for a bit. They told me in order to fill it i would have to speak to a pharmacist so I called the number they gave me. I was in hold for AN HOUR AND 20 MIN and then they hung up on me! Called back right away and waited on hold for another 48min just to be hung up on AGAIN!. I dont know whats going on but this is so frustrating especially when you NEED this medication and need to get it filled right away. I wrote a message to them on my cvs app just to be told "you must speak to a pharmacist in order to fill this prescription" but they did not acknowledge the fact that I said I was hung up on TWICE! I dont think ill EVER be able to fill my prescription because I dont think ill be able to get a hold of anyone. The people at my local CVS were kind and tried to be helpful but couldn't help me since my medication had to be filled by their specialty department ?. I would go elsewhere but my insurance goes through these guys for specialty meds and I dont have a choice or ill pay quite a bit for this medication.

CVS Specialty is a nightmare. They have terrible customer service, put holds on critical medication for a child that has been paid and scheduled for delivery without reason or explanation. You will waste hours of your life on the phone with customer service reps who have no idea what they’re doing. Go somewhere else. They should be out of business.

Just moved here and had my nausea medicine went here 4 hours ago. Was just told they couldn't fulfill my prescription because they are too focused on speciality services. I walk in and there is zero signage about this and why didn't anyone just give me or my doctor a call to let me know? Super unprofessional. Im only giving two stars because the gentleman did transfer the prescription to a Bartells. Ended up taking substantially longer than it should as I'm standing here just trying not to throw up. Just really need to communicate this to the public if this is truly the process.
