Thankfully, I live across the street because parking is not great at all. The location is convenient for bike enthusiasts, but that’s where the positives end. I needed my tires repaired because they wouldn’t inflate. I thought it would be a simple fix, but they wouldn’t even look at it because my bike was a different type of e-bike. They sent me somewhere else, so much for convenience. On the bright side, they did sell me a $110 ABUS lock. So, I gave them an extra star just for that gracious offer to take my money.

I don't have much to add to the other reviews, but this place was great. Tyler and Robert worked hard to find a bike that fit my budget and parameters, and made sure to have me (and my son!) test out each bike. (They also let my 5 year old hang out at the shop and cannily bribed him to get him on the bikes!)
They were really focused on making sure that I walked out of the shop with a bike that made sense for me and my family.
Great investment. I ride the bike just about every day for commute + kid dropoff. So much better than being in a car.

Been meaning to write this review for a while! This shop is great. I bought my Riese and Muller Load 60 from here and the staff was so helpful in helping me choose the perfect bike for me. I use the bike almost every day!
I was able to test out bikes both on my own and with a passenger, and the greenway near the store is the perfect test track (it's got good road, bad road, nice hills, everything you might encounter in a city environment).
If you're looking for an ebike, I highly highly recommend stopping into Dandelion Bikes.

I purchased a Riese and Muller Supercharger in 2022 and had an excellent experience. They outfitted my bike with everything I requested, including hexlox, locks that were keyed-alike to the bike battery, and upgraded axles so that the bike was exactly what I wanted when I rode it out the door.
Their customer service is excellent. Their tune-ups have always had my bike feeling incredible, and I recently had to schedule some service due to a damaged front fender. Vann was able to squeeze me in and fix my issue in just 1 hour, so my bike is back to being in tip-top shape in record time.
Dandelion Bikes is the sort of place that shows why it's important to support your local bike shops!

I fully enjoyed my experience with Dandelion Bikes. As per the other reviews, the staff was friendly and the selection plentiful.
Staff & Owner: Attentive and friendly but beyond a doubt, these guys (shout out to Robert) know their bikes and were happy to share the knowledge. Never did I feel like I was being talked down to or being pushed into buying something. The whole team from sales to repairs helped to explain different configurations, pros and cons, legal classifications, and even service costs over the life time of the bike. I felt really confident when I finally chose my bike.
Test Rides: Dandelion is gracious yet practical with their test rides. I went back three times before I decided on my ride. Each time, they would make sure the bike was fitted for my short inseam and give me an overview of how the E-bike features worked. The first time on the bike, the staff was careful to walk me through the software and how it would be different from a traditional bike. On my test rides I was able to try multiple different features from a derailleur & chain, variable gears, different brakes, and a belt drive.
Purchasing & Ordering: Depending on how much you want to customize or special order, your experience may vary. I found the payment method exceptionally easy and I was fortunate that all the parts of my order were already in the shop. Within about a week my bike was ready to roll.

We have been beyond happy with the Packster we bought from Dandelion. It is just way more fun to ride a bike than drive a car. I did not realize how quickly bikes can get around Seattle compared to cars (bike infrastructure is getting better every year and skipping traffic and parking is a major advantage). The big ol box and the cargo motor make it easy to carry lots of stuff. I ride my wife in the box to Cap Hill for date nights, wife + kid to Madrona Park for beach days, kid + groceries, etc. I now go weeks at a time without driving our car.
The folks at Dandelion have been super helpful and responsive. Our Packster had a defective part that needed to be replaced (for free, under warranty) and needed to be shipped from Germany. I must have been visibly stressed as I walked out of the shop (not looking forward to juggling drop offs for two kids with one car) because Tyler ran out after me and offered to let me borrow one of the demo bikes until our bike was fixed. I don’t know of another bike shop that would let you walk out with a bike like that and hold it for weeks. It totally saved our bacon and was much appreciated.
In summary: ditch the car, get a cargo bike because it’s better. Get it at Dandelion because they’ll take care of ya.

This has to be the worst shop I've ever worked with. They hoodwinked me into being able to ship my bike to my new home. It's been nearly half a year and they can't provide me with any information on the bike. They are extremely unresponsive. Won't provide me any shipping info to track it. It's up in the air if they did any of it and just sold me bike knowing I'm half a world away. Stay away from these people

I took my Load 75 in for service and the ride home was better than when the bike was new! I am so impressed by the Dandelion team and the level of detail to which they go over a bike. Needless to say, I will be back for all of my ebike and cargo bike purchases and service. Thanks Vann & Andrew

Tyler was fantastic! He had expert level knowledge on the bikes and was incredibly helpful in helping me find what worked for me *and test ride them*. Anyone looking for solid ebikes should come here

Can't recommend this shop enough. All the employees are extremely helpful, and have a wealth of knowledge about E-bikes. I was able to try out many different bikes, and was encouraged to try even more to make sure I found the right one. I never once felt any sales pressure and really felt like they just wanted me to get the best bike for me, regardless of price. Everyone I interacted with was also very nice and made the whole shopping experience very enjoyable.Update 1 year later: the support I've received from Dandelion Bikes has been top notch. They've given me advice on new parts, helped me install new handle bars, and provided me with excellent servicing for my bike. It feels great knowing you have such a friendly bike shop to go back to whenever any issues arise.
