Fast, affordable, reliable and convenient. The driver who delivered my gravel was a master at his trade. He seemlessly maneuvered my right driveway and skillfully dropped the load to make easy for us spread. I'm thrilled with the service!

As a diy’er this is the best place to buy back fill and mulch locally within Seattle.

Dirt Exchange has some of the better (or best) prices around and a lovely online ordering/scheduling system. Their driver was awesome and made sure we were extremely happy with the drop.We visited in person to check things out before ordering online, and I thought that was helpful for my understanding of what we needed. We are just random non-professional homeowners looking to have fun in our garden with cool rocks. We couldn't quite tell where to park to browse, so we just grabbed street parking.Check out their dropoff options for dirt and debris you don't need, too, if you are a hippie and like to do things that help out the planet and have the finances to support that.My only comment about room for improvement is that their online ordering system could benefit from a bit more automation/validation (e.g. automatically adding the split load fee, or automatically returning and error if you order more than one delivery can carry). They have warning messages to help out, so it's not like you're left in the dark or anything! For this to be my biggest suggestion should tell you how great they're doing.

Dirt Exchange is the only landscaping supply company that I could get on the phone with a person, and when I did, they were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They were understanding with a strange request & let me got some footage there for an independent film project. Everyone I interacted with was AMAZING. Thank you Dirt Exchange!!

Great family business. As a landscaper, I spend a lot of time here. My first time here, some irate other landscaper pulled up and started loudly cussing me out for parking in the wrong place. The staff promptly encouraged him to take his business elsewhere if he's going to act that way. They have my business for life.

The soil has a ton of plastic in it. I even found a few cigarette butts. Gross. So if you're concerned about a ton of plastic in your garden I 'd shop elsewhere.

Horrible customer service and I literally saw them verbally abusing and threatening another human being just for walking down their road! What is the world coming to?!?!?

Been here probably a dozen times for work. Office staff is nice but I'm not returning. Tired of dealing with the extremely rude guy running the excavator. He's impatient, unprofessional, disrespectful and hostile. Not worth it. Rather drive way out of my way then deal with him.

These folks are truly PNW best " salt of the earth " types but their salt of course is rich and nourishing compost and dirt for your garden and yard projects. Their charges are reasonable and you can get what you need quickly. They do what they can to support local communities like our community garden the Belltown P-Patch, which by the way is a beautiful place I invite you to visit on he SE corner of Vine Street and Elliott Ave .
