In 2005 I did an complete kitchen remodel incorporating beautiful VG fir custom cabinetry. Over the past 18 years of use, the cabinets acquired their share of dings, water damaged finish, and scratches (fir is a soft wood). Davood did an incredible job restoring those imperfections in my cabinetry to look new again. I am thrilled. He is not only highly skilled, but fast! He completed the job on site, in less than a day. A total pro.

Davood came by the very day we called and collected 3 broken chairs. He returned them 2 days later and we are thrilled with the work he did. These are antique dining chairs that he actually reinforced with an embedded metal rod that extends down the back of the chair. There is no sign of it or even scars where the backrest broke off. We will not lose his contact info!

I'm grateful for the beautiful work (magic) Davood did to restore a chair with sentimental value to us. The "Sikes" chair had been given to us by my husband's parents. Their parents had given it to them in 1960. It was broken and the finish was uneven due to wear and tear. I picked up the chair today! Now it's a treasure that we will enjoy in our home. Davood is truly a master craftsman. He is knowledgeable and experienced in woodworking and restoration. I also appreciate that Davood took the time to communicate with me during the process to assure that I would be pleased with the outcome. I am! Thank you.

Parted from the trunk on a Wednesday and had it back on the Sunday of the same week. Davood was great. Very fast in responding and very clear with what was needed. We had a wooden chest that belonged to my husband's grandfather. The wood was chipped and the top was broken, the planks, completely separated. Davood fixed and refinished it and he returned it looking amazing. I highly recommend him not only because of his work. In the short conversations we had, he seems to enjoy what he does and very focused on his work.

Davood stripped, sanded and completely refinished a solid mahogany desk that my father-in-law had built when he was in college, and my husband just inherited. The desk was somewhat beat up from all the years of moving. Davood stripped everything, including the insides of the drawers and the back of the desk. He varnished all the insides of the drawers and stained the desk a beautiful satin Ebony! It is better than new - it is absolutely stunning! I would use Davood again for any type of refinishing whatsoever. He is a master!

I came to Davood with a unique project, a travertine/tessellated stone vintage table base. He made great suggestions as to how he could fix it, with different options I could choose from. The corner of the table had been kicked and crumbled off. He ended up doing a molding for me and painting over it the color of the table, and also filling in any cracks from the table aging. It looks great, and blends in with the stone! He also helped me carry the table up and down stairs, came to my house to pick up the piece so I didn't have to drive it over myself. And then drove it back to me in great condition. Thank you, Davood!

Davood is an extraordinary craftsman! I called him and he picked up our furniture that our dog destroyed the next day and brought the 5 pieces back the following week in PERFECT condition. He was exceedingly professional and reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend him!

I found Davood via Yelp. I had purchased some vintage McGuire chairs that were in good shape but with a dated/not very beautiful finish. Davood made them spectacular. Davood has an immaculate shop and does beautiful work in a timely way. He did a test patch to make sure he was clear on what I was envisioning and prior to final coat, invited me over to see the almost finished product. Couldn't be happier with the outcome including new webbing he sourced for me. Davood is kind, talented, provides excellent customer service and was a pleasure to work with. Davood was amazing!!! So prompt and kind. His prices are beyond fair. I know because I shopped around for the last year and finally stumbled upon his business. This is a man who is passionate and loves what he does. It shows in his craftsmanship. The two chairs I had look even better than the original and I can't believe that he was able to repair all the dents and deep scratches that were in the frame. He even had his friend redo my cushions for me. Also fair prices. Thank you so much, Davood!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Davood. He responded quickly to my email inquiry, gave me an estimate which he then altered and explained to me when he saw the piece, picked up to one location and delivered to another, and completed the work in less than two weeks. And best of all, he refinished the antique desk that belonged to my beloved grandma and it is completely restored, gleaming and gorgeous. All the drawers work, and he made an alteration I requested so it would fit in a small space. I'm so happy with it! He clearly takes such pride and pleasure in his work. Look no further for your beloved family antiques - or even regular old beat up furniture that needs sprucing up.

We sent our Mid Century Modern Heywood Wakefield dining room table to Davood for refinishing and we couldn't be happier with the results. He was easy to work with and the turn around time was impressive. We're so happy in fact that we have already sent out another piece to have him refinish. If you are looking for a artist in this field look no further. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Five stars just doesn't seem like enough.
