Nice corner store, but not a lot of options for many products.

Solid local cornerstore. Lucky af to have a place like this within walking distance. Kinda odd how Seattle doesn't have many small neighborhood groceries like this when compared to other cities of similar size.

A Wallingford institution and a durn good place. The owners are lovely people and there's always a surprisingly good selection of beers and wines.

Durn Good is, well, Durn Good. I'm kinda sad that I lived in the neighborhood for half a year before I ventured into this little convenient store. They carry Smith Brother's Milk, which is very nice of them, and they have everything anyone needs from a convenience store. I don't drink, but if I did I'd be able to find whatever beer or wine I wanted, because their selection is top notch. they also carry CBD drinks! The owners are super nice. I hope this place exists forever.

Parking can be tricky and it's actually kinda pricey. I assume it's because the area has a higher income. I only come here if it's absolutely necessary and on my way through the area.

$5 card minimum makes this store rather inconvenient much of the time

If you need snacks or cold drinks, the place to go if you can’t walk to Qfc, but expect to pay $1-2 more on everything!

Love this little store! It’s perfect if you’re in a pinch for some ingredients or quick snack! Even saved us last thanksgiving when we needed a few things. The owners are great and very nice, the type of people you want to shop for instead of a big chain store. Definitely worth it to check it out

There should be more of these around. Wouldn't that be great?!

Durn Good is a great little neighborhood convenience shop that knows what it exists to do--provide a good, easily browsable selection of essential bites, drinks, and household supplies--and does it exceedingly well. You don't go to Durn Good to stock up on a week's worth of organic groceries for your family of four or to hunt down bargain basement prices that compete with big box retailers. Rather, you go to Durn Good to grab a 6-pack of local beer (the selection of which is awesome for such a small store, by the way) when you're running late to a barbecue; to snag a bag of ice when your ice machine at home inevitably takes an unplanned vacation; or to grab a handful of snacks on your way out of town for an early morning hike. So yes, Durn Good does what any self-respecting corner convenience store should--i.e., provide stuff you need in a pinch--but it goes beyond that. The folks at DGG have clearly put significant thought into maximizing the quality and selection of their products given their small footprint and have organized the store in a clean, intuitive way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for in about 20 seconds flat. The products appear to be replenished frequently so there are no random patches of bare shelf space, but they also don't overcrowd the space so you can't find what you need. They also sell their own branded apparel which, aside from being legitimately cool and well-designed, indicates that the folks at DGG care about their reputation and take pride in the brand of their small but mighty establishment. Last, the staff at DGG always seem happy to see you and are more than glad to answer any questions or just chat it up with you for a minute before you get on your way. Durn Good is where it's at!
