Lisa has been my stylist for many years and has always done a fantastic job! I've never had one complaint. The few times I wanted a tweak, she makes it happen. If there was ever a time I wanted more than a tweak, no problem! Any negative reviews here have to be based on misunderstandings or assumptions without clarification. She is great and I highly recommend her!

Absolute scam. I got my hair done by Lisa Marie a few weeks ago. I went in and gave her my whole saga. I used to do full foils, and I decided that I wanted to go natural so I grew it out a little bit but it was just like awkwardly grown out. She did a short eval and we agreed on a reverse balayage, I thought it was a great idea. She did a few foils, and then a gloss. It is absolutely not a reverse balayage, she dyed my hair brown. The tips are like black. She must’ve said it dozen times it’ll get lighter. She washed my hair three times, she almost fully dried it, and then took me back to the sink to wash it the last time, claiming it was that there was product in it, but I’m confident it was just a lot darker than she expected.
Here’s the thing, I wouldn’t have been that upset about this, except what she charged me. It’s my fault for not asking for price, but when she said she was doing a gloss for the reverse balayage, I was relieved it wasn’t going to be hundreds of dollars. She never told me the price. At the end, I laid my car down the table. She picked it up and charged me before I could stammer out ‘oh, how much was it for?’ IT WAS $375.
I had to run to deal with a sick family member coming home on hospice otherwise I would’ve stayed and confronted her. I did call asking to understand breakout because cost surprised me and she responded by text after but I still don’t understand why this cost me so much money. I’m terribly upset with my hair. And I’m terribly upset with the cost. Straight up scam.
It’s been two weeks, and it’s an ugly, reddish brown with black tips. This is not what I asked for.

Lisa Marie is an amazing hair stylist! She listened to what I wanted and gave me the bright blonde I asked for. She is an expert and I am very satisfied. Plus her salon has a fun vibe and smells really good too.

I've been in Seattle for 14 years now, and I've had probably as many stylists. I don't think I have difficult hair to cut our color but apparently I do because nobody has been able to cut my hair in a way that I'm happy with until I started going to Lisa @ La Luna. She's the absolute best!!! She never cuts my bangs too short and she also does phenomenal color. I started going to Lisa over 2 years ago, and now I won't go anywhere else. La Luna salon is super hip with a cool retro/rock/pinup vibe. She has cool art and jewelry for sale from local artists which I think is super cool to support our community. I can't say enough good things about Lisa. I love her, I adore her! If you're in doubt About trying a new stylist, Trust me on this. I have literally gone to at least a dozen people over the last 14 years. It took me awhile to find her and she was right in my backyard-ish. ?????

I scheduled several weeks ago and then on the day of my appointment I received a text saying that she was sick and needed to reschedule. The following week, another rescheduled text was sent (day of) because she was still sick. Okay, fine. Then I got another reschedule (day of) because she had a birthday party to attend (why did you schedule an appointment if you knew you'd be unavailable?). Okay... I said I was free Tuesday and Wednesday the following week. I get an appointment scheduled for Thursday. Fine. As long as I finally get the appointment. Then, today (day of again) I get another reschedule attempt in text because she suddenly remembered she meant to schedule me for Friday (not a day I said I was available) and that she was out of town today. I said that doesn't work for me and that I'll just cancel and go elsewhere to which she replies that if I can be available later today, she can do the cut. (What? I thought you were out of town?) I would have liked to support a small business and get a haircut from Lisa Marie, but this experience was entirely unprofessional. I understand rescheduling due to illness. But this was too much. I am taking my business elsewhere.
