Outstanding Service and Support at First Citizens Bank
I recently opened a small business account at First Citizens Bank and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and warmth. Amelia, the service representative who assisted me, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made the entire process seamless.
What truly stood out was Amelia’s dedication to supporting small business owners—she connected me with a women-owned business event where I had the opportunity to network with other inspiring women entrepreneurs. I am so amazed at the great service at this bank! Every time I'm there I get the best communication, service and treated like a queen! The best part is I don't have to go there often because they come to me! I've been able to sign papers and do bank work when my banker met me somewhere convenient for me. I highly recommend working with them.

Yesterday 10/15 I walked into this location as a non member with one of their own checks written to me in my name from a legitimate business. The check I had matched my Driver's license. Well after the teller questions me on how I got the money she then proceeds to tell me that they don't cash checks over $10000. I was taken aback because what bank doesn't cash their own checks?!? And why ask me all these trivial questions about the legitimacy of the check if you knew you couldn't cash it? I can't say what but it didn't sound correct. Anyway, I went to BECU and they cashed my check no problems 😁

First Citizens Bank has been very slow to respond to my PPP application with the SBA program, I submitted my application on Day 1, only on Day 14 they started reviewing me, Day 15 all the funds ran out. Now, no status updates on round 2, no word on if my application was even submitted. Extremely disappointed that my small business bank would not help me when all across the country other business colleagues have had a much different experience. This bank is quick to get you to sign up for high interest loans, but slow to give you back what you lost during COVID-19. So much for putting customers first.

Have had an account at First Citizens for about 6 years. As a small business owner I have always found them to be helpful and easy to deal with. They have been eager to meet our banking needs for deposit handling as well as credit. I would recommend them.

This is the worst bank I have ever experienced, I have had an account for now for almost 4 years and now am done, the fees are bad, they hold checks way too long, I am a bisiness owner would not recommend this bank for a business or personal account.
