Watch dude loading his bag stealing things for free but when I use the checkout lane I get asked for my receipt. Makes no sense. The security is a complete joke and a waste of money and time.

A young associate was very very helpful and polite. She assisted us in finding all the right sizes and clothing items. Roulax I believe their name was. 10/10 customer service!

Pickup:Ryan was so friendly and helpful that he cheered up my day! I really appreciate how convenient pickup is, but also to have it put into my car with a smile and kindness really just helped me on a hard day. Thank you!!!

I like Fred Meyer but something weird happened. Ordered grocery delivery by app. Chicken breast, Foster farm breast tenders. 1 lb. Get 2 lb, that's fine. But it's very light. It's not like one that's packed with chicken which I don't normally buy. I weigh it it's 1.2 lb with package. Also has buy one get one free sticker which doesn't apply to my online purchase. Either my one chicken was misweighed sticker on the wrong package, or conspiracy theory they're doing it at large. I'll delete this review someday but now you heard. Got >1.2 lb of chicken for 18.34$

I tend to go to Fred Meyer for anything I can't get at Trader Joe's, e.g. plant soil/fertilizer, nail polish, paint supplies, laundry detergent and cleaning products. The store doesn't seem as vibrant as it used to be, but I tend to find what I need. Parking isn't too much trouble, but the weekend late morning/afternoons can feel hectic. I don't know what it is, but people driving in the parking lot have an almost frantic energy which I find unsettling. Other than that, you can pretty much find whatever you need there, and probably a lot of stuff you don't. From plants and groceries to furniture/home furnishing and tools, Freddie's got it!

I am so tired of being in 2023 and being targeted while black in this store! First, I am an army veteran who is now the principal of a school. I make 6 figures and not on the lower end. My boyfriend is an electrician making just as much as me.When my boyfriend and I come here, it never fails that we feel targeted. Let’s start with Dan in the seafood department. The first time, he said a smart remark when we bought close to $100 in shrimp. The second time, we wanted to buy the rest of the king crab legs (roughly $90). He pointed to the price as if we cannot afford it. We restated that we wanted the rest of them. He pointed to the price again. We said, “We don’t care about the cost.”One day I was there, I was in an aisle and heard, “Security, scan Zone B.” Tonight, as I hobble on my crutch with a sprain toe and my veteran BDU top and Army veteran hat on, guess what. I am on the same aisle and heard, “Security, scan Zone B.” Coincidence? Doubt it.Another day, the lady at self-checkout kept asking me if I scanned my sodas. I showed her my receipt…quiet outside but boiling inside.Tonight, the guy at self-checkout kept looking in our cart as if we didn’t pay for something. He watched us walk toward the door and probably said something to security before we got there. Then, we watch everybody walking out the door and being greeted with a, “Have a good night.” We get to the door and security asked to see our receipt. Now, my boyfriend was aggravated. I am more humble and showed him the receipt. The guy then said, “It’s okay. You’re good.” As we walked out three more couples behind us were not asked for their receipts.I am so tired of being treated as if being black in America is a crime! I never use race as I was taught to be inclusive of all. However, it’s very noticeable when we enter this store!

This store is extremely dangerous and I would avoid shopping here until they seriously address public safety issues. Our car was burglarized in the northwest parking lot in broad daylight.Where was security? The armed security guard was too busy watching people in the self checkout to care about where the real crimes were happening. I guess looking out for people shoplifting is a priority over the safety of customers. This time we were very lucky. Other than a $500 window, neither of us were hurt. But let this be a lesson for the future, it's only going to get worse. I fear the criminal activity will only become more aggressive, violent and dangerous. I'm sure the employees have seen and had enough of it.I will not be shopping here until Kroger takes serious, tangible action to protect it's customers and employees.

I have been coming to this store happily for over 10 years. This past year a few things have been really bothering me. One, I have a hard time finding carts for a majority of my visits (Weekly). The lack of baggers has been really obvious lately. With young kids, I've always appreciated this feature (Now lack of). The last time I was there (Last week), as the cashier was scanning, he noticed I hadn't grabbed a bag and told me that now customers must bag themselves, cashiers don't do it anymore, and told me I'd better start now, no smile, basically a demand. It was entirely rude and surprising to be talked to this way. I usually watch the scans to make sure I'm being charged correctly instead of immediately bagging. I've seriously been considering switching stores as this Fred Meyer has changed so much in a negative way.....Edit -I now go to Town and Country for all my grocery shopping and I couldn't be happier.

Though the store is usually clean and fairly well stocked, it seems to have been with a major staffing shortage. The last few visits there haven't been any carts available for use, and there was only 1 (non self-service) checkout stand.

I went to this Fred Meyers in Ballard Washington. I asked for the code to use the bathroom. I went up one of the cashier ( pictured) she was very rude and smirked at me when I asked her. she would not give me the code to use the bathroom. She asked someone to let me in the bathroom. I asked her if that is the rule for just certain people ( I am African American). She would not answer , she only just smirked at me. The sad part is the pictures showed what the bathroom looked like. It’s not even being cleaned. And they are protecting it from certain people. Also there was no paper towels in the bathroom.
