They do a great job keeping that place together, safe, and clean, given the high level of crime I'd say they do a very commendable job and deserve praise. 4 stars, could be 5 but I docked them one star simply for the availability of some items, as well as the closing time being an hour earlier than other fred Meyers, and additionally I've had one u pleasant interaction with a gentleman working the customer service/returns counter, but overall this is a Fred Meyer I enjoy going to and I will ship at again.

Fred Meyer is a convenient one-stop shop offering groceries, clothing, electronics, home goods, and more. The store is usually well-stocked, and I appreciate the variety of products and weekly deals. Staff can be hit or miss—some are very helpful, while others seem stretched thin—but overall, the experience is positive. I love being able to get everything I need in one trip. The store layout is easy to navigate, and their self-checkout is fast. Definitely a reliable place for both everyday needs and occasional big shopping trips.

All my compassion to the employees. The place is grossly understaffed. Definitely worn down, this location has been around. Homeless and sketchoids on outskirts and floating about. Be street smart when you are here.

Been going on and off for years. Good selection but crime in and out of the store is bad. Armed guards are posted at the entrance, and all shoppers are checked on the way out. It's not their fault but the downstairs (grocery) section sucks to shop in, lots of weird people on drugs openly trying to steal, seriously just spend 5 mins and you will see.
I do like the upstairs toy and hardware, and the garden section is robust. I would just park and shop upstairs. Downstairs is a sad and crowded place.

Freddie's is what it is, an overpriced Seattle supermarket. I went in there to get a gallon of milk on sale. But that was it; didn't even bother to shop the rest of my list. Will get all the rest of my shopping at Winco and Saar mkt, on Saturday, probably 30 - 40% less.
I comment, though, that the fresh fish dept is first rate, both in product and service. The sort of attention to the customer's needs that you normally only get at a small independent. I credit Bruce, the department mgr (sorry didn't get last name). He knows fish and he knows customer service well beyond just surface politeness.

I’m a 40 year business owner in Seattle Whohas shopped at this store 3 times a week for a decade ! It has steadily gotten worse all the good employees have quit or been fired for stopping shoplifters ! I’ve personally stopped 3 shoplifters one of which assaulted a female right in front of employees who did nothing ! The manager blares out over the loud speaker 3 to 4 times 30 minutes before closing in the rudest fashion imaginable I get what they have to deal with but maybe instead of blaring out over a load speaker open more checkout ! A guy that has helped me at least 30 times in self checkout because the system is so flawed today refused to sell me wine coolers because my id was expired and my new one hasn’t arrived in the mail I renewed online he has checked my I’d at least 10 times prior one of the employees is my Nieghbor who I also helped with a out of control customer! Kroger has lost sight of customer service so bad and does nothing to stop shoplifters but does even less to help good customers stay customers I will absolutely never step foot in the store again last months receipts total over 2k and that’s about average ! Maybe the store should rethink processes until then they have lost a decade long customer! Absolutely the worst management of a store or for that matter almost any place I’ve ever seen
