Derryn is an amazing community leader who truly cares about making a positive impact. Working with them to host events at Garfield Community Center stands out from others - they're organized, communicative, and passionate about creating great experiences for everyone. Their dedication to the community is inspiring, and I highly recommend reaching out to them if you're looking to get involved or host an event. Thanks, Derryn, for all your hard work!

I enjoy utilizing the gym at this location due to the readily available equipment and it’s well equipped for such a small exercise room

I was told I was not allowed to use the electricity outside. She was absolutely disgusting to me on the phone when I asked. An get this she literally said I have to be inside to use the plugs an nastily added if they're locked they'll stay locked for no apparent reason just decided to spit venom at me...Make it make sense, hateful evil place if you go off that one person alone, the other day two Caucasion ladies checking on equipment had no problem with it because its literally the same as in doors cost wise to the city ,they even asked if wanted to be inside which because of severe mental disability that I get aid for actively ,isnt ideal or possible.I don't go inside anywhere besides Amazon fresh an they have workers tht attacked me too just like this monstrous person not everyone is able to function the same. Its nice if you don't get discrimination hurled at you for the way you look or if the Caucasian women speak with you ..Watch out for that one though I think she was African descent.Go figure,I am too smdh over these two raggedy plugs I believe she even called the city against me.. Psychosis??

The insulation is too good I guess lol. It can get too hot when playing in the gym even if the doors are open. The best part are the people that work here. The team probably provides the best customer service out of all the Seattle Community Centers. Yea the only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the facility itself not having a way to be cooled when it gets too hot. If it's 75 degrees, it can become unbearable.

Weight room has a bench press and some other equipment. No A/C so it does get pretty hot in the summer.Overall it’s nice to have something like in the neighborhood!
