One of the spacious hotels in downtown Seattle.
Rooms: Decent size rooms and large bathrooms.
Walkability: Very near to pike place and hotel location very safe during night.

This hotel is centrally located and very close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and the Pike place market.
We appreciated that there was never a wait at the elevators, the room was spacious and comfortable too. We had a great view of the water, and we appreciated that the room also included both a bathtub and a shower. This in fact was the main reason why we chose this hotel over many others in the city!
The front desk staff could use a little bit of a better attitude but other than check in, and a request for a later check out, we didn't really interact with them at all. The bell hops/doorman were very friendly.
Even with our experience with a rude person at check-in, we would still stay here again because the location was unbeatable and the room was very comfortable and spacious.
Rooms: The rooms include both a shower and a bathtub and the beds are supremely comfortable. The blackout shades are automatic and our review had a great view of the city to the water.
Nearby activities: There are lots of restaurants nearby, both chain restaurants and local spots. There's also shopping nearby, including a mall and several standalone stores including Ben Bridge, Sephora, Nordstrom, and more.
Walkability: There's a Walgreens a few blocks down if you need a pharmacy and the Pike Place Market is walkable as well!
Food and drinks: The hotel itself has a bar and restaurant, though we did not visit either. Downstairs the hotel is directly attached to a Starbucks, a deli that has every snack / drink you would probably want, and an Asian restaurant. We liked that these options were all directly connected to the actual hotel lobby so that you didn't have to go outside to get to them. Also between the three of those restaurants they pretty much cover every meal of the day. Starbucks would be great for breakfast / morning caffeine, the New York City deli has sandwiches you can order or pre-made foods, and the Asian restaurant would be perfect for dinner. We visited both Starbucks and the New York City deli during our stay.

I love how close the Grand Hyatt is to the Pike Place market! So many good eateries, shops, and the fish market is a blast! Great location as well for mall shopping, or just walking around exploring.
The valet personnel are amazingly nice and efficient. The bell hops are super kind, and the concierges are on point.
There is a Starbucks located inside! So that's a plus if you like coffee. The lobby just renovated their lobby bar. There is also room service options so you do not need to leave your room for a hot meal. Uber eats does deliver here as well.
Rooms are clean and come with plenty of pillows! I appreciate that a lot, as I love to have 4 pillows. The rooms have blow-dryers, tissues, q tips, lotion, shampoo, conditioner , body wash, make up and nail polish removers. There are mini coffee makers under the TV, in the cabinet. Robes, slippers, and umbrellas are provided in the rooms. The rooms also contain a safe to store your valuables.
You can park in a paid outdoor parking lot, the Grand Hyatts parking garage or use the valet services. The valet services are the best option, I believe, as it's a one time fee and they will fetch your car for you and park it again as many times as you like; whereas with the outdoor and garage options, you have to pay each time AND go get your vehicle for yourself. I mean, why not treat yourself once in a while?
I recommend the Grand Hyatt. I have stayed here 3 years in a row and I will be back next year!
Rooms: Have Chromecast capable TVs, phones, lots of power plugs, automatic shades for the windows, big soaking tubs (not all rooms have this), double shower heads (certain rooms), and a lot of rooms have a beautiful view! They can also have mini refrigerators. No in room microwaves, that I have seen.

Nice hotel. The location is great, great gym, the rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable, and everything was clean. My only gripe was with amenities: only one bathrobe in the room, no slippers, called service for water bottles that never arrived, etc. But everyone we spoke with was kind and helpful!

Great hotel. Rooms are a little small but good for one or two people. Super clean and fast friendly room service from the onsite restaurant.
Nearby activities: Conference centers many restaurants
Walkability: Visiting for a conference easily within walking distance. Pike Place was a bit far but public transportation or uber get you there very quickly.

If you can stay at the olive 8 across the street, do that. The regency doesn't have a pool, hot tub or sauna. I had heard the trade off is the regency rooms are better. Can't say I really agree. They're fine, nothing wrong with them but overall I was happier with the room and amenities at olive 8.

I’m writing a review based on my experience working with the sales team to coordinate a room block. My fiancé and I worked with Megan G and we have to give her the biggest shout out! This was the first time we’d ever tried to coordinate a room block and it was for our wedding party (who we wanted to have the best time while in Seattle), so we were both nervous and stakes were high. And yet, we had the best experience with the Grand Hyatt. Megan was so welcoming and personable; she and I bonded via email over our shared East coast roots and I immediately felt at ease. She also expressed such genuine interest and joy in our wedding plans. All to say, our nerves started to subside almost instantly, given we were greeted and treated so wonderfully. Megan was also super informative and patient with the process. Sometimes we didn’t even know what to ask and she would walk us through everything very clearly via email. All in all, I would highly recommend considering the Grand Hyatt for an event or wedding block. Their sales team is excellent!
Things to note:
The Grand has an amazing sauna, a club room, and this awesome champagne vending machine in the lobby (see pic). I’m forgetting what other fab offerings it had but these stood out!
Nearby activities: Great location for exploring downtown Seattle. A short walk over to Pike Place Market and other attractions. And the light rail is a short walk too, so easy to hop on and explore the rest of the city.
Walkability: Located smack in the middle of downtown. Super close to the convention center and the light rail.
Noteworthy details: Sauna, club room, Starbucks, and a champagne vending machine.

I arrived very early and was very tired. The front desk was understanding and gave us a room early. This is my kind of hotel with a champagne vending machine in the lobby.

Wow!! This was such an AMAZING experience! Yes, the hotel itself was beautiful, had great views, and felt clean and safe. But the staff really made this experience the BEST hotel experience I've had. They were kind, helpful, peppy, and really went out of their way to make me feel so incredibly welcomed. I would absolutely stay here again. Kudos to the whole team here!

One day I will have the same bathroom. This hotel is perfection at every level. The gym looks like the just built it, clean and shiny, sauna, and jacuzzi clean. Friendly and professional staff. I will go back to this hotel. Thank you for taking care of your guess!
