When Chopper, our spirited Doberman, gobbled up a box of grandma’s truffles—yes, those kinds of truffles—our hearts stopped. But Green Tree Animal Hospital was there to catch us. A quick call, a rush to their door, and they were all hands on deck. They worked their magic, getting Chopper to bring up those sneaky sweets, and after some hydration and anti-nausea meds, we were out the door, Chopper a bit groggy but safe. This snapshot, taken as we left the vet, says it all: relief, love, and a vet team at Green Tree who turned panic into gratitude. Chopper’s back to his usual antics, and we’ve got a tale to tell about the day our vet truly saved the day.

I love this place for the service they gave to my new rescue pup and me! I definitely chose the right place! Dr. Kleven was terrific with Geppetto! Thank you so very much to you and your staff who also helped us!

We are new to Greentree, and we are already SUPER FANS. Our veterinarian, Nicole, was just incredible. She was kind and patient with our pup, Ruby. For the first time in a long time (we switched from VCA in West Seattle), we didn’t feel rushed and pressured at the vet. The entire staff was friendly and the facility were so clean and cozy. We are so grateful we found Greentree!

Such a wonderful place. Our dog has gotten great care here. They are prompt, kind and even fun! We love Greentree and so is our dog! She isn’t even afraid of the vet because everyone is so nice to her!

Convenient location for those in West Seattle neighborhoods but holy molyyyyy their prices are absurdly expensive. My advice-- get a second opinion (procedures, vaccinations, medicienes) before agreeing to pay for something here.

**update - last BP check at eye Dr. was low (under 100 top number) without meds. Dr. Dunphy at Greentree was rude and upset when I hadn't put him on BP medication. Don't be afraid to advocate for your animal, even if it makes you uncomfortable.** The front desk is always helpful and efficient. It is Pricey and I was also given wrong patient's test results in the past. I know mistakes happen so I let it go. Recently I asked a question about how long lab work was valid for when putting my dog under anesthesia (because his surgery was unexpectedly cancelled due to covid) and I was met with a very offended and non helpful response. The rest of the visit was clipped and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I tried to apologize to the staff for wherever offended the vet and when I finally had a conversation regarding the interaction I was told it was because I was abrasive. Not sure why it was interpreted that way. I think I may have just been trying to process why a vet was telling me there was no standard for lab work if it's a requirement before being put under for surgery and I was confused and looking for guidance. It's unfortunate I have to find a new clinic due to a misunderstanding. Definitely unprofessional.

All the vets that I've seen here and the staff have been incredibly kind and caring. My cat can be a real j*** and requires sedation to be touched when at the vet, and everyone was still so nice to her. They took their time with her, and kept things as low stress as possible. They were very communicative about lab results and even got me in on a weekend when my cat wasn't feeling well. Overall really appreciate them!

I absolutely love the Greentree Animal Hospital staff and their doctors. I recently moved out of state, but my dog had been a client of theirs for over 3 years prior to moving. Dr. Dunphy took wonderful care of my pup and you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. The staff has been truly helpful, especially while I was moving to Hawaii and needed to get a bunch of paperwork taken care of. They went above and beyond by researching the Hawaii quarantine laws and made sure I had everything needed in order for my pup to bypass quarantine. Highly recommend this place for your animals!

The vets seem knowledgeable but they're scheduling and organization will consistently disappoint you. They seem to get by because of the sheer lack of options to move to a new vet. I suggest starting with another vet as they are over priced and often challenging to work with.

Absolutely the best vet we’ve ever been to. Our dog actually pulls us into the front door. Incredibly kind people.

I am a Greentree Animal Hospital convert - boy, do I wish I found them when I first moved to West Seattle. I have a (nearly) five year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Moira, and we had our initial visit today - we had a few vaccines to update, and I also needed to re-up on some preventative meds. Our Vet Assistant, Anna, was so freaking fantastic - she was so kind and sweet with Moira and asked all of the right questions. A very easy, thorough (yet quick!) intake. We then saw Dr. Mastroluca - let me tell you - she is absolutely amazing. You can tell she TRULY loves animals. Very compassionate and goes with your animal's flow. I used to go to a vet clinic/animal hospital within walking distance for the last few years... Moira has never had such a thorough exam - Mastroluca checked Moira's joints, her lymph nodes, did a thorough ear check, amongst other things. Our previous provider had never checked her joins or nodes - just a quick peek at the eyes, ears, and a few pats around the sides. The doctor had great recommendations for meds to help Moira's joints as she ages, and was very compassionate yet fun.Very little wait time (note: I did have this appt. scheduled for a few weeks) and we were in and out within about 30ish minutes.P.S. I called 30 minutes after my appt. to ask that they send Moira's vaccine info to our daycare and they promptly did that asap! Much appreciated.

Very loving staff here! We even had to ‘boop’ my kitties nose to try her to stop purring long enough for them to hear her heart/breath sounds. All while they adored her.

they lost my cat's remains and tried to gaslight me about it.i kept coming here even after i moved out of west seattle due to the quality of care my senior cat (and best friend) was receiving. sometimes i would drive over an hour. in general, the staff was polite to me and made me feel that they wanted the best life possible for my aging cat. i had thought very highly of greentree up to and even after my cat's passing when i received a card in the mail from the staff (even though some referred to my cat as a boy, she was not).the day she passed i was asked if i wanted a paw print and fur clipping along with her ashes, which i said yes to. when her remains were ready for pick up i only received an urn. i didn't realize until i was already home but i have never grieved before and found the whole process very difficult so i decided to bring it up later. i was still in contact with greentree as i was struggling to pay for the expensive end of life fees. between paying phone tag with the front desk, i asked about the fur and paw print a few times. instead of considering the fact that someone made a mistake, the administrative staff tried to gaslight me. they insisted on the fact that "someone remembers putting it in the bag". i'm sure someone put some cat remains in someone's bag, but i had only experienced one cat death and i did not receive it. somebody misplaced my cat's remains and they are gone forever.don't go to greentree. they are happy to disregard your animals or you once you're not giving them money.
