My dog passed away two years ago, I took him for X ray blood test because my dog wasn't able to work. The vet said they couldn't find out what happened to my dog and two months later they sent me an email about the blood test wasn't able to do. 7 months later, my dog wasn't lookig good and I took him to the another emergency hospital immediately, their vet told me my dog is dying because his bone in his back is hurt. I have no idea why greenwood couldn't find out what happened that time, they did the X ray right? Why didn't find out what happened to my dog? I could have save my dog from dying. I also have a dog which have ear issue and I took my dog there again and again, spent lot of money as well.. never fix the problem until I took them to the other vet and everything is going so fine. If you have other choice don't go this one. They are expensive and useless.

My family and I have been long time patients/customers here, unfortunately we have had to go somewhere else as the quality of care here has gone drastically downhill while pricing has shot up. During the pandemic, they went to curbside service only and never returned to business as usual - meaning you're no longer able to accompany your pet during their exam. Each time we've taken our pets for exams with this set up, they've become more and more traumatized and fearful of the vet. Under the care of this vet, my dog's health declined, his anxiety worsened, and issues were overlooked. At our new vet? They immediately were more accommodating, allowed us to stay with our pets during the exam, communicated clearly before and after the visit, and were much more transparent about pricing. At Greenwood, they started proving estimates for us to sign prior to providing care, but even those have been drastically off - by hundreds of dollars higher than originally quoted with no explanation for the discrepancy. Enough was enough. We're happier now and so are our pets.

I’ve been coming to Greenwood Animal Hospital for over 7+ years. They have been nothing but wonderful to me and my babies. Even after moving out of Seattle area, I will only bring my animals here. Thank you guys for everything over the years.

Had a great experience. Dr. Hersh is a fabulous vet. We were visiting from california over thanksgiving and our Bernie torn his ACL ligament. Most vets wanted to charge a leg and arm (over $8,000.00!! and were out 2-4 weeks to do surgery). [i thought california was expensive but vet care in seattle is crazy expensive]. Anyways, they were amazing, got us in next day and he was out of the clinic the same day and at a fraction of the cost was. He is already recovered and it's hard to keep him quite! Very lucky to have found this place.

We really like this hospital. Definitely the best vet in Seattle. They are really gentle with my anxious dog and give him the time he needs to settle into the "scary place". All of the staff is always really nice. My dog got injured a month ago and the team was fast to stitch him up. The staff helped us through all of our questions. My dog popped the stitches pretty fast because he's so active and the injury was on his leg. The staff helped us to know that we did all the right things but he needed staples to ensure he wouldn't reopen the wound. All very helpful and kind. Both of us feel very safe here. I trust them 100% with my pup’s care.

The staff is nice but you don't get to be in the exam room with your pet. I would highly recommend not authorizing any money to be spent on treatments until you've talked to the vet after a checkup first. I'm pretty certain my car was just misdiagnosed and probably needs a check for a UTI

Ernie was a rescue and this where the organization took him before I adopted him. He had a comfort level here, they do great work with rescue groups and their pricing is very reasonable. 5 years later we still bring him here and drive all the way from Burien to do so. They are transparent with pricing and the doctors and staff are wonderful.

I've been taking my dog here for 5 years now and have always had good experiences. The folks who work here are kind, clear communicators, transparent about price, and truly care about animals. They also serve a lot of the dog rescue organizations in the area. They do have a new check-in system, implemented during quarantine, where you text the front desk when you arrive. It worked seamlessly--texted them when I got there, they took my dog and performed the exam while I got a coffee next door, and I got a text when it was time to pick up the pup.

I was a very big fan of this clinic when Dr. Zile was in charge. He and his wife were always welcoming and took the time to ask questions. This time, when I dropped my cat off it was a quick hand off. They handled the spaying and shots. (I assume) and I picked her up later with no incident. It was fairly impersonal which is fine but I was given no post op care instructions which would have always happened before usually the Dr explaining to me directly. I had mentioned that I thought that she had ear mites and could they please treat. When returned they confirmed the ear mites which they treated for a cost of $300. I was really shocked that this very basic non invasive topical treatment would have cost more then maybe $50. I feel they took advantage of me but they had my card so I did not protest what felt to be really a massively cost-inflated charge. I am looking for a new vet next time something comes up.

This vet was the only place we could find that had x-ray/ultrasound on labor day. They got our dog in for a very emergent issue immediately. The doctor recommended x-rays but did an ultrasound for his own reassurance and said he would not charge us. He found a large mass on my dogs spleen unrelated to our visit and saved her life because of the chance that this mass would rupture . So incredibly thankful and I cannot recommend them enough. We worked with both doctors and they were very thorough and explained both issues so we understood what was happening.

Greenwood Animal Hospital saved my dogs life. My dog got into the trash while we were in bed and ate the bones from an entire rack of pork ribs and if course the bones splintered got stuck and punctured her intestines so she was in terrible shape bleeding internally, diarrhea, puking. I called 10 different vets looking for anywhere that would help her without demanding $1000 up front but I was getting nowhere. I called greenwood and they were amazing, they helped me find a nonprofit charity to secure funds for my dogs treatment and took her in right away. After two days and and nights in the Green woods hospital my dog survived and I was able to take her home. She's got a while to go before she will be back to her old self but thanks to Greenwood she is going to be ok. I don't even have the right words to express how grateful me and my son are.

Great staff!!All the team has always been very nice. Everyone treats our Otto with lots of love and treats so he loves it there too. They are caring and honest. Also, we have never had an issue with scheduling appointments which is a big win too. Thank you Greenwood Vet Team

My cat was hit by a car and the care and compassion I have experienced by the team has been outstanding. I can not thank them enough or recommend them more highly. They have kept me informed of the costs and considering the extent of damage I believe are reasonablereasonable
