Hau Hau Market is a well-loved Asian grocery store known for its large selection of fresh produce, meat, seafood, and various Asian groceries. Run by a Teochew family, the store features signage in English, Vietnamese, and Chinese, making it accessible for a diverse community and especially helpful for those familiar with multiple languages. The market offers a vibrant outdoor "farmers market" style produce section alongside a wide indoor selection of fresh and frozen meat and seafood, all at wholesale prices that are often much lower than nearby stores. Customers frequently find high-quality vegetables, fruits, and specialty items, with some shops offering unique products not easily found elsewhere. The market is busy, with narrow lanes and quick flow, but remains easy to navigate despite its popularity. Prices are a major draw, with many items like vegetables, fruits, sauces, noodles, and snacks available at affordable rates. While most employees speak Cantonese and Mandarin, English speakers might find communication a bit challenging. Overall, Hau Hau Market is considered a hidden gem and a go-to place for those seeking variety, quality, and value in the International District.
Can be very busy, they have a huge selection of vegetables and other items for sale from many different Asian countries. However most employees don’t speak English.

Hau Hau does a good job keeping the homeless outside the parking garage. Good prices on grocery. Accepts Amex too
