I came in for a haircut today after my friend recommended I try Headlines. I showed the stylist pictures of what I was looking for but left very disappointed. I was looking for a light and feathery style, but it is uneven and very blunt. I tried to communicate with the stylist so he could make adjustments, but don’t feel I was listened to. After showering and trying to style it myself, I’m realizing that it is absolutely not what I asked for and doesn’t seem up to par with what a salon like this should accept. I tried calling to deal with this privately. I was looking for a refund so I could get this fixed at a salon I trust because I really don’t want them touching my hair again. They said they couldn’t give me a refund because the transaction had already been completed? Really disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

The women here were so kind and accomadating. I wear hijab and have a baby so its hard to find a salon thats so understanding of my boundaries and needs. The cut was done so wonderfully and it didn't take long either. If you are a woman who is a hijabi or has any other kind of request go to this salon!!

One of the worst experiences I had at a salon. My hair was completely ruined and damaged. I went in to get my hair one shade lighter but walked out with two-toned black and burgundy hair color. When I returned to have it fixed, the stylist even acknowledged what he had done wrong. Instead of correcting it, the owner had the audacity to charge me for an entirely new service, which literally fried my hair. I’m writing this review a month after the incident. I genuinely didn’t want to, but I am now experiencing severe hair loss. I even got a bob haircut to remove all the bleached, damaged hair, but my hair has never been this bad. I do not recommend this place to anyone

Got a great cut and beautiful foils. I knew the color was great as one of the other stylists walked by and commented on how pretty it was.

Love this boutique salon, conveniently located at University Village, lots of parking. Their seasoned Stylists are amazing, especially Jared! They also stock a wide variety of products.

I've been going here for about 4 years. They used to be cheaper, but now they are outrageously expensive. I wanted strawberry blonde hair, they just gave me blonde and then charged me an extra $100. I looked at their prices on their website before going in and was very upset that their prices don't match. I feel like I got scammed.

My stylist of many years, Carla Gardinier, just moved to Headlines Salon (3 hours away from my location 😯🙂) and I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly. If you are looking for a stylist who really listens, is a perfectionist in her cuts and treatments, and is great to work with, you will be very happy with her. I will have a really hard time finding someone who I trust as much with my hair, since I am very picky. Great location for a salon, too!
