I ordered lumber delivered and they clearly used as an opportunity to offload low grade remnants. I expect a certain percentage of board to be low grade and was true of the wood that came bundled. However about 20% of the order consisted of individual (unbundled pieces). Every single one of those was low grade. Update: After spending well over an hour with customer service they made it right and shipped replacement boards

Worst Home Depot ever. We would expect with the many employees that they have that at lease a few would be helpful, they completely ignore you. When you finally get someone to help you, they do it with a very bad attitude and can't provide any basic information on any product or guidance that you are looking for. Please hire people who are willing to work and learn, we don't expect them to know everything but if they were atleast polite!

Favorite location, by far. Every encounter with a staff resulted in knowledgeable information about a product or DIY projects. A special thanks to Lars, for helping us on MULTIPLE occasions with stubborn custom blinds we came across.

We wanted to replace some 10 year old carpet in one of our rooms with carpet from Home Depot. Big mistake! NEVER get carpet from Home Depot unless you live in a very new house. Expect your simple carpet replacement project to explode in cost, time, and hassle due to their excessive asbestos requirements. One of the asbestos remediators I talked to laughed when I said what I needed done and immediately guessed I must have tried to get carpet from Home Depot.

There are pros and cons to this Depot. It's scary that the entire parking lot is fenced in to keep something in or out. The place is packed with things you can use to fix your house. But the aisles are jammed and I must have gotten bumped into four times in 5 minutes looking at product. An employee asked if I needed help finding something without me asking. But the aisles are stacked so high it's hard to see the signs describing where products are located. I forgot to leave a trail of crumbs.

I drove down to pick up shop vac hose attachment. The website indicated over a dozen in stock. The aisle bin for the product (set of 3 plastic fittings) was rummaged through and no kits available. I returned home and ordered online for store pick up. Within minutes my order was 'filled.' I drove down to the locker pick up and was happy... until I found that the store picker only selected 1 fitting and ignored the other 2 pieces. Here is where it began to go downhill: I stood in the Customer Service line for 15 mins, then instructed to stand in the Order Pick Up line. They acknowledged the problem then sent someone to look into this.......for 30 minutes ! In the meantime, 3 store reps asked if I had been helped (good) but no one followed up on the status of the aisle check. I had to explain each time what the problem was. They apologized and asked me to step back to the Customer Service line where they would offer me a discount on the electrical box I was ready to purchase....but that it would be another 10+ minutes to get to the front of the line. I gave up and walked to the pain t aisle to pick up a 2 gal plastic pail. Seeing none, I asked 1 rep who suggested I go down to the plumbing aisle. Seeing none, I asked another store rep studying his phone. He seemed disinterested and unable to speak above a mumble other than to say "uh, I don't know." I gave him a minute while he pecked away on his phone before informing him I would go down another aisle. His response "oh, yeah, okay." I found that the shelf for 2 gallon pails were empty - all sold out. I've patronized this store for decades and most visits have been very good... now that self check out has installed. I must say that the shop vac fittings were found available on Amazon.com for cheaper so I ordered the $11 product and will sit it out for 2 day delivery. I'll be using Amazon more frequently vs Home Depot for smaller items from this point on.

I've always found Home Depot to be lacking in the customer service department, this location is no different. I would go as far as to say that the employees here are burdened by the mere existence of customers. So I'm doing them a favor and won't be returning! Give your money to local hardware shops who need the money more than this corporation.

It's impressive the sheer volume of people working here who can't be bothered to help you find anything. I hope you have cellphone service to look for your item online and hopefully it tells the where to go in store. Not that anyone really has a choice who lives in Seattle to shop at a different hardware store, this place carries a bunch of stuff that other stores don't. I'm just tired of walking aimlessly through that massive store while employees look you dead in the eye and ignore you.

*Update July 1st, 2021*Home Depot sent me a whole new microwave and redid all the work and addressed all of my concerns. The new crew was friendly and competent.*Original Review*I ordered a new microwave and opted to get the installation service from home depot. Words cannot express just how unhappy I am with the service. The installers were in a massive rush, and made so many mistakes. Here's the laundry list of problems:1. I was missing two important components - the turntable and metal tray. Without the turntable, the glass tray doesn't sit flush and rotate correctly. I noticed this after the installer had left. I messaged him and he said that he had noticed it was missing (which means he lied to me when he finished the install and said that everything was in order), and that I should call the manufacture - they can overnight it for me.2. The back plate of the microwave was installed incorrectly, and they only used two out of the three bolts to mount the microwave to the top cabinets. As a result of this, the microwave does not sit flush with my cabinets, and wobbles when I open the door. When I pointed it out to the installer, he said, "No, it's level and flush. Look. Also, it's a problem with your cabinetry." Great. So it's both not a problem, and also a problem.3. The installer made mistakes where the holes for the bolts needed to go, and he drilled massive holes. As a result, I have huge holes in my cabinets. Additionally, the hole for the electrical power was not drilled in the correct location, so the power cable is pinched between my cabinets and the microwave - this also contributed to the microwave not being flush. My biggest problem here is that they were in such a rush. Instead of doing the job right, I now have more problems to fix, and additional damage to my cabinets.4. They asked me to lay out a towel over the stove. Nevertheless, they left saw dust all over my stove, and there was even blood on the towel. What is going on here? Amateur hour? This is completely unacceptable. I definitely could have done a better job myself. But I needed extra hands to help me with holding the microwave while bolting it in.Save your money and hire someone else to help you if you need help with installation. I've called support, and they said they are going to send someone out next week to help. I'll update my review if they solve my problems.

This had to be the best experience in a home improvement store that one could ask for. The Downtown Seattle store (among other retailers throughout the state) was dealing with call after call and request after request for any and all portable air conditioning units. Having had a 110 degree day in Seattle (which hasn't ever happened in my lifetime), all stores were out of stock. I was visiting my parents and realized they needed a replacement. Saw online that this store would have it. They hadn't received it. Had been waiting a couple days for an emergency shipment by truck coming to the Seattle area. There was hope though. Many of us arrived around 5AM and it was down to only a handful who could wait and waited. Managers, Mike, Cody (who greeted every single person with a smile at 5AM who was waiting in line), and Dan (from the Merchandising Team) were so kind, incredibly empathetic and were just as hopeful as we were. It didn't help that we waited with our carts in the section of empty a/c shelves. They knew we were doing our best not to leave without an a/c unit. They even graciously brought us bottled water. They did not need to do that but it was a simple yet kind gesture.By chance and patience, the truck arrived 4 hours later and they led us to what felt like gold. I seriously will NEVER shop anywhere beside Home Depot from now on. In fact, Downtown Seattle (Lander location) is my place. Thanks so much to the kind, honest and incredibly amazing team at Home Depot Lander. You have a 'forever' customer. On a separate note, Dan (in the pic) mentioned to a small group of us that he has been working for with Home Depot for 18 years - we get it. Clearly a great company. You can get items from anywhere - but it's the people that make a business stand out.

Today I was trying to rent a truck but everywhere else is fully booked. Found HD online with availability and those people in tool rental department were very easy to deal with, especially the old gentleman. Deserves a thumbs up! This place saved my moving.

I general avoid Home Depot because of their political donations but they had a mower I wanted. ?♀️ Eh, one does what one can but sometimes you end up spending ? money where one would rather not. Staff was fine, store was fine.
