I have paid Very High Price for them to file 2023 and to Tell you the Truth I still have not Received my Tax Return. All I have Received is a BiG Run Around! I have been waiting over a year to receive what I could have done myself. This Is some BS ! For me to paid $300 for them to give me some BS on why it taking so long. If I filed on my own I would have already received it. But I am still waiting and still getting the run around. Plus I had to my own foot work on top of that. For me paying money I should not had to do the work on top of it. This company is a scam because all they want is the easiest way out of things and have you do the work when it should have been the other way around. I thought that is why I paid so I didn't have to do work. On top of that the company is holding up my money because they have already told me they already received it. But I am sitting here still waiting and still trying to get my own money. This is crazy!

My experience with my original Sensor Tax Analyst by the name of Vernon Fahy was very unpleasant. He is prejudice against black people and very disrespectful when I did not want to work with him anymore he tossed my paperwork at me.I do not recommend working with that old racist man to anyone.
I recommend Paul Fennel Great guy amazing hospitality service, very welcoming personality and fast process. He gets 5 stars from me. Thank you to paul for helping me and my wife complete our taxes!

If i could, i would rate no stars for the very poor customer service and unprofessional staff. The staff here are clearly queerphobic and entitled to think they can put people down for no reason. How cruel and messed up!

If you plan to go here and you have other options, TAKE THE OTHER OPTION since here no one knows anything about customer service and less do you expect them to solve questions or problems.
A girl of apparently Hindu race, left me sitting for 10 minutes in what she had things on the computer and calls, to tell me that I'm missing something and that she couldn't attend to me, she didn't even see the papers, she just didn't want to answer me. Also at the reception they had no idea about my appointment.

After my CPA passed away, I decided to give Robert a try for our 2023 taxes. Today, we wrapped up our tax filings with him. Robert is easy to work with, laid-back, and has a great sense of humor. Given the complexity of our taxes with both personal and business aspects, Robert did an excellent job assisting us with our filing. Overall, we are very pleased to have Robert on board and look forward to working with him for many more years.
While parking in the area can be challenging, the Capitol Hill location is ideal if you're in that area. I highly recommend Robert if you're looking for a good tax advisor.

Coming here was a horrible experience, and it was not because of my tax bill--I actually got a refund. Usually, I would, and can do my own taxes but every few years a complex issue comes up and I need to go to HRB for assistance. This year I received disability from multiple different entities and they all, strangely, treated the taxes and deductions on my distributions very differently. I thought one of these companies had to have made an error and I either owed a lot of tax or should get a lot of tax back. I printed all my documents and left it at the HRB office, so that the tax professional could do it at their leisure. I was surprised that tax person called me that afternoon to say he had finished. Given that he never called me before he started, I was a little perplexed. I asked him how he handled the disability tax issue. He obliviously said 'what issue'? I let him know about the multiple forms with different tax treatment, and he said what other forms. Apparently, he did not read all the documents that I gave him and completely missed the only issue I had on my taxes. After further discussions about other documents in my file that he did not read, I pointed out the issue directly, some entities levied taxes and deductions while others (same type of company) did not. His reply was we simply accept what they say and don't question them. After more, back and forth, he yelled, LISTEN, THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER. DO YOU WANT ME TO DO YOUR TAXES. I ended up having to do my own research and spoke to another tax professional who spotted the issue and clearly explained why the two similar companies could have their distributions treated differently. It was a weird case, but I now had the legal opinion rationale to back it up and finalize my taxes. I've used HR Block for years whenever I had real issues. This year they were unhelpful, demeaning, obnoxious, rude and clearly did not care about the customer. I will likely never use them again.
