Lean refused to use our banking details to make ouг рауmеnt to the IRS even though that's how we paid in previous years AND that's what I specifically discussed with him on the phone this year. He instead sent us a link to an internal page where I could go through the hassle of figuring out the payment for a nearly 3% additional processing fee!
I hadn't been paying attention, I could easily have missed the fact that I needed to make the payment myself.
Not sure if I just got a bad agent or if this is new company policy, but I won't be using H&R Block again - way too expensive for the level of service provided.

new to filing taxes and i thought walk ins were welcome, lady at the front desk has a nasty attitude. it’s not my fault you’re stressed out. do better

Wife went to go get her taxes done. Leon who was late for the appointment ended up creeping her out and hitting on her the whole time. Asking for her number and if she wanted to go out for drinks!!! Not a good look for H&R Block. At least she wasn’t charged.

Leon has always provided excellent service and treated me with respect and honesty. He is highly knowledgeable and has made every effort to get me the utmost on a refund. I really missed him preparing my taxes when he had relocated to an office out of the Greenwood neighborhood.

The people working in the office were very knowledgeable and welcoming. The front desk clerk helped me get onto the schedule last minute, and my preparer was super friendly and explained things I want even aware I was curious about!
