I’ve lived in Seattle for 6 years and tried almost 10 different group workout gyms. Industrious is by far my favorite and as the tagline says, I’m definitely the “Fittest I’ve ever been”. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get serious with your fitness goals but maintain consistency while at it!

Simply the best. The programming, equipment, coaches, and the attention to detail are above anything else offered in the space. They’re always wanting to improve and take customer feedback very seriously. If you haven’t already, come check it out!

Let's start with the positives:- I like how you have your own station with most of your equipment there. And before class, they tell you what other equipment you need to grab and it really isn't much.- Workouts are pretty beginner friendly, or there's easier modifications.- I believe his name is Brett but he's a friendly dude! Welcoming, and helped me grabbed all my equipment when I was running late. Talk about going above and beyond!- There are quite a few coaches walking around, so if you have questions, you can flag one down! Now let's talk about the negatives:- Get there early to grab your spot! It gets really hectic during the transition of people going out and more coming in. It gets hard to tell who's claimed a spot and who's cleaning up and is on the way out. Yesterday, I got frustrated because I went to three different stations who told me that they were actually using it. It took four tries for me to get a station. Today, got there early and asked someone who was cleaning if I could have their spot.- There are only THREE bathrooms! Speaking of getting there early, either show up dressed and ready to go or change before you get there. Every day I've gone in and there's a line to the bathrooms.- Instructors aren't very hands on. Yes, they show you how to do the workout but they don't give you feedback. I think getting form correct is so important.- I hurt my foot badly yesterday, to the point where I was on the ground and NOT ONE coach came by to ask if I was okay. It was only a foot cramp but I was literally on the ground and the person behind me asked if I was okay.- Oh and today, I asked the coach what number round we were on and she just stared at me. Okay-- thanks coach.Overall feedback: Love the music and the workouts! But if you wanna be best prepared: come early, dressed and ready to go! And have some knowledge of crossfit!

This gym has great equipment and is very clean. HOWEVER, the priority is not on form. I saw a couple of regulars performing moves in a way that had me worried about their backs. Yet the instructor gave zero corrections throughout the workout. Even if he had, the music was too loud to hear him. I like my music, but I was having a hard time hearing his instructions over it. I was regretting not picking up the earplugs they provide at the front desk.If you’re looking to crank out a difficult workout and don’t care about form, this is your gym. I also could’ve sworn I reviewed this gym already. So it looks like they’re taking down any negative reviews. Let’s see how long this one stays up.

Absolutely love this gym! Not the typical gym bro xfit vibe that so many other boxes have. Do t get me wrong, I can bro out with the best of them, but this gym feels much more welcoming and accessible to the general public tha typical xfit box. Coaches and nice and pleasant and will give u gr8 instruction. Workouts have both RX and scales variations. The unique thing with industrious is the individual workout area dedicated to each lifter. I like this style alot but may not be for everyone.

As someone who loves to drop into classes, I did a class this week and wow. I went to a morning class where I was greeted and given instructions by Jonathan who was so kind and patient and very helpful with the new movements. During the workout, he came and checked on me and my form. The workout itself was such a good sweat and with Jonathan coaching the class felt like I couldn't be stopped. HIGHLY recommend! And thanks Jonathan for the support and welcome

Helpful and friendly instructors. Each person gets their own workout station (with cleaning spray and rag) with all the equipment they need so they are prepped for the whole session without roaming around the gym. This is a cross fit gym so it could be intimidating to someone who is new to working out or unfamiliar with crossfit in general, but I the instructor will check up on you and help you with form, workout stricture etc. Seems like there are activities and challenges that motivate people to work out hard. *first class is free to try

Have been going to the 5:45 am class for 3 classes with Jonathan Espinosa. Have never done cross fit workouts before and have been really happy with the workouts. Jonathan is a great coach and have been really enjoying going to his classes! Could not recommend Industrious more!

Been going to this gym for just over a year since moving here. I have been to plenty of gyms in my lifetime but this one far exceeds any of the others. Coaches are fantastic and the programming is challenging but I absolutely love it.

Moved recently to the US and this place made me feel at home in Seattle. Haven't done crossfit before Industrious but fell in love with it. The gym is great, you have your dedicate space to work out, the coaches and the atmosphere are amazing. So happy I found this place! Would recommend it to anyone who is interested in crossfit, you can see daily workouts on their Instagram page.

*EditThe staff here is so friendly and great at pushing its clients safely. I’m new to CrossFit, so my review, relative to other affiliations will be somewhat biased, but I love it. They incorporate a “halo” concept, which basically just means you have your own four corners to lift weights and do your workout. If you’re thinking of signing up, check the workhardlivefit ig page to see the workouts. They incorporate cardio focused days and weight lifting days, so the program is balanced. After being a gym rat and doing excessive cardio, constantly getting on and falling off the wagon, this is definitely the most efficient use of time to stay in shape.

The highest praise I can give Industrious SLU is that having relocated multiple times I always wish I could move back to Seattle JUST to attend their classes. Let's get the boring stuff out of the way, the equipment is well-maintained, the workout space is clean, and the wods are super fun and challenging. But the real stars are the coaches and the community. I've never been the athletic type myself, but I found myself excited to check in every single week, because of the constant encouragement and support of the downright friendly coaches. If they could teach me those Olympic lifts, I'm confident they can quite literally teach anyone. Special shoutout to Bret, Zanna, Stephen, and Heather, you just couldn't find a better group of coaches, with their welcoming personalities and infectious energy (thank you for taking my music requests!). I'm sure the morning coaches are just as brilliant, I'm just too lazy to have made it to any of those sessions. Plus, I made some great friends in the process - an amazing added bonus! And I've continued my fitness journey long after, which I can't say any other place has encouraged me to do.

Industrious is a great place to be!Industrious' equipment is top notch and each person has their own set of well maintained equipment to use inside a personal workout space called a HALO. The investiment in equipment drastically eliminates the usual time spent grabbing equipment makes the workout more efficient. The systematic approach respects people's time and ensures that you can get the full workout without going over the time.On top of the great system, the coaching staff is welcoming and encouraging, and makes the experience fun as you work out to their music which syncs well with the workout.I'm very happy that I found Industrious and highly recommend that you come in and join us!
