Don't shop here and especially don't work here. The co-owner Allison is condescending and emotionally abusive to her employees and disrespectful to customers. I have witnessed her single-handedly make at least four employees cry on the job by acting like a bully and belittling them. This place could be really cool but the reputation of the owners precedes them. Don't support a business that treats people the way they do. All of the other negative reviews are completely accurate. This place is toxic and overpriced. Avoid.

Really enjoyed the curation of furniture at this store. You will likely feel similarly if you are into more modern, European-like furniture. It is one of the more premium furniture stores in the city.

If you have any option to avoid buying from Inform. Take it. Shockingly bad customer service. Alas they are one of/the only place in Seattle carrying certain brands. I've started working with stores in LA/NYC directly to avoid Inform. I've worked with Ash and Amber. Both similar in being terrible at following up/being proactive. The icing on the cake, they don't accept Amex, and seem to revel in the fact that they don't.

I wish there was a no star option. I usually do not even go to any place that has less than 4 stars as a rule but this last year has been difficult and decided to go against my intuition to support business's and here I am. This is the only place in Seattle that had the brand of furniture we were looking for and that is another key reason why we decided to try. We spent our valuable time and visited this place and almost chose the furniture in the fourth visit as it was a lot of work and evaluation and during the way ignored all the red flags. Ash worth was the person we were in touch with she was cold in the beginning but maybe figured we were serious buyers and warmed up but again she became cold and distant. We went there 4 times and i had to make time to go there amidst a work day, find a parking and visit so it was not fun or a mater of wasting her time or mine. I felt so sad that she didn't respond to our request for a quote and possibility to buy the pieces on the floor. She promised she will respond the same evening or latest by next day 2 weeks ago but didn't. I am actually grateful to her that she didn't because I got new furniture from the manufacturer directly. I still don't know why someone can be so rude and disrespectful of others time. I had stopped reviewing but now I had to. If you can please don't visit them. One more thing that stood out for me is they were vacant anytime we visited that means not a single customer. We fixed an appointment all the 4 times but one time we reached 10 Mins early and it was very cold and raining but the lady at the floor refused to open the door despite I making attempts to reach her. She saw me as she was just across the door inside but she wouldn't budge And didnt even pick the call. She always wears black I wonder if that's the person everyone is quoting in their reviews. Anyways a good lesson learned. Reviews needs to be respected!

The worse place to shop and work. Nothing is ever clear or transparent and this is because of the owners. Meaning nothing will ever change. My vote : Shop online or at DWR

This is possibly the only furniture store in Seattle that matters. Unfortunately, the prices reflect that. I recommend waiting for their sales by signing up to their mailing list.

I've walked in twice ready to spend and both times I was driven away by the employees. At my last visit, we were lamp shopping and I found one I really liked. I was actually considering buying it. Since the lady was busy with another customer I started kind of moving it around to see how it worked. Gently, of course - I'm not going to force or manhandle an expensive fixture like that. She informed me - from across the room - that she doesn't like it when "everybody does that". Her highly unprofessional and rude attitude took me by surprise so I asked her if 'everybody' does indeed do that. And she said, "No. Just you" So I'm the j*** that keeps breaking her lamps? WTF. Instead of taking the opportunity to engage - she actually *sneered* at me, then went back to her conversation. We immediately left and took our money with us. Never going back there and I recommend you stay away too unless retail abuse appeals to you. This lady, from another couple reviews I read sounds like she may actually be the owner! If that's the case, Inform Interiors will only be a bad memory by year's end. Good riddance.

Horrific customer service! Not well organized! Very unprofessional! Stay away!! Here's what happened to me: I ordered a wood bench from Inform in the summer of 2016. At the time I placed my order, I gave the salesperson Drew my credit card to pay the required 50 percent order deposit. The salesperson Drew emailed me soon thereafter to say that the bench had shipped earlier than expected and that I'd need to pay the remaining order balance prior to in-home delivery. I promptly replied via email and told him that I was excited the bench had arrived early and that he should charge my credit card he had a file. He then arranged delivery of the bench to my home, and all was good with the bench. Or at least all was good with the bench ... until ... some two and a half years later! At that point (in the winter of 2018), a different Inform employee named Laura called up my husband at his office completely out of the blue. She had apparently done an audit of Inform's files and had determined that -- despite me giving my credit card to Drew way back in 2016 to pay for the bench -- Drew allegedly had never charged us for the second payment for the bench. So Laura was calling to collect the payment that Drew--at least according to Laura--had dropped the ball on. As a customer, this felt very jarring to have Inform call us two and a half years after a purchase and to claim -- for the first time ever -- that full payment had never been received. Inform was clear they weren't faulting us and that it was their employee's mistake. Nonetheless, I felt very mistreated. As a customer, it is hard to dig up payment records from buying something some 2.5 years earlier!! We spent some time trying to go through our credit card records and bank statements to figure out if Laura's claims were true, but given the significant passage of time after the bench purchase, this was hard for us to do. So in the end, we felt pressured to pay Inform and to trust their assertion that their employee had (some 2.5 years earlier) failed to properly charge us. Bottom line: In our experience, Inform's billing is horrifically unorganized and unprofessional. It is not right to call up a customer 2.5 years after a purchase and to claim that (due to an employee mistake) full payment was never collected--and now must be made. That pushes the burden onto the customer of having to keep records of all payments made for years and years after a purchase...

I had purchased some items from Heather (miss so called Interior Designer) and at first she was sweet, but I was blinded that I didn't see the $$ signs in her eyeballs. I received the one item but was damaged in shipping. It was not her fault but it was not easy to get a hold of her because she doesn't work full time. I had to wait and put off the installation of my project because of that. Fragile glass should not be shipped ground through UPS, but handled by a white glove delivery service company. Duh. When I did get it installed it didn't look the way it was supposed to be given that she was the "Interior Designer" and went with her suggestions. I was in disgust how it wasn't my vision of what I wanted. I immediately contacted her and she didn't even bother to care or remedy the problem. It was pretty much like " Oh well you bought it and now your stuck with it". She made a big sale, left me with something I do not enjoy and it has been a constant reminder that I will not buy from these people. I have been a loyal customer in the past, but will not be a customer there again. Look at the bad reviews and this company has a high turnover rate of employees. Do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from this money hungry store.

Love this place! Nothing remotely comparable in Seattle. The staff is great and very knowledgeable.
