Been on the phone for 3 hours now waiting for someone to answer my question. I have spoken to 4 different departments and each one has said that they cannot answer the question and transferred me to another one. In addition, they are saying I have to pay a late fee even though I filled in February and they didn't get back to me until LAST week. I am trying to dispute it and since it takes the IRS 30-60 days to look it over I will accrue late fees until they come up with a decision. Not sure how any of this is my fault but I'm glad to know I'm getting penalized for doing my taxes early.

Our experience was very smooth. You enter the building. First thing is security check at the gate. There is a sitting area and in front of you elevators. At IRS you get a token number and send to the cabin. Within 10-14 minutes everything is done. 20 minutes in and out if you have all docs.

If there are zero rating then i they deserve it.... my husband went ther to get a transcript but they told him he needs to call and make an appointmwnt first,so that even if he was already there he needs to do what thet told him.. after they give an appoitnment which is the other day so he come back again to present her appointment,but when he is there they told them that he has no name and appointment schedule gjven to him... what a wasre of time and effort....

Matters with irs is a tough and often frustrating (lots of waiting) process… however, coming down to Seattle office has been a great help! The staff has been so helpful guiding me in the right direction toward resolution.

Having to go through so many menu's and not being able to connect with someone is pretty frustrating. There seems to be no option in talking with a live person. This is not good customer service.

I had a very positive experience this morning. Went in right at opening time and the lady at the front desk was super helpful and accommodated me for a walk in. I spoke with Sharon regarding my query and she is one of the nicest people I have met. She addressed my questions and some with a smile and I was out within 25 mins. Kudos to this office!

Filed taxes last year they never paid me said I owe for back taxes but they owe me for back taxes and it’s a sad building with sad people and I’m leaving a sad review and that’s about it but the brick work out side is really cool and just to get in the building you have to pretty much strip down and show them your insides and that’s just to get in the door! Sorry if you have to get in here!

I received great service from a representative (“Ms. M.”) who helped me with a tax return for a deceased family member. She was empathetic, capable and diligent. She managed to release the return for processing after it had been held up for months pending ID verification that I was not able to do using the IRS website or phone service. Thanks!
