This is a locally owned business that I've patronized for years both during a house remodel and now while maintaining a rental property. They have a remarkable amount of inventory so don't skip this business when you're looking for tools, parts, paint, household, garden, plumbing, fixtures, electrical and car stuff. Ask if you can't find something because it's probably there. The service window will re-key locks, cut new keys and is the only place, that I am aware of, that will create simple window screens. I believe they also offer delivery. Everytime I go, all the shoppers are older men who've been in the trades or building stuff for years. Fellow women, this place is here for you too. I've never felt intimidated or uncomfortable asking a question when trying to figure out what I needed. I've also seen job postings over the years and they take care of their staff here. If you can, try to support local businesses like this one.

I’ve gone to this hardware store multiple times because it’s near where I live. More often than not they don’t carry anything I need and refer me to McLendon’s in White Center. It’s frustrating that they don’t carry many things that you would expect a hardware store to carry, but this isn’t why I’m rating them so poorly.
Because of the difficulties I’ve had finding things in this hardware store I decided to call ahead of time and interact with an employee that was extremely impatient and rude to me over the phone. We have not been interacting for more than a minute and a half before he started to lose his temper with me over how long the phone call is lasting. There is no excuse for this, especially when customer is politely asking simple questions.
I’ve been here at least a dozen times and this phone call was the last straw. I’m never going back to this place and I suggest you go elsewhere if you have the choice.

Their employees are super knowledgeable and always help me find the right bolt, glue, Christmas ornament, or strange thing I didn't know the name of or whether it exists.

When I checked out today the checker refused to bag my items. I had brought my own bag. I assume it is some type of woke policy? I wasn’t expecting to have a political experience at the hardware store.

LEO the Home department manger! Is hella sketchy and displayed microaggression towards me I asked questions to get further insight on a product and what would be best for certain circumstances I had to plan for but was meet with irritability from him and eye rolling as if I was just a stupid person. Does seem like a good fit for the work place. I do still enjoy the place and love to get my home and yard supplies but this was an experience I won’t forget.

I was browsing the store for a while, because I realized they had a better selection for small bits of hardware and tools I need for several projects I need than any other store I've been to this far. Apparently they have a time limit for browsing, as I was confronted by a staff member asking if I was "looking for anything in particular or just browsing, cause you've been circling for about an hour." So, if that's the way they treat new customers, I see no reason to return, nor purchase any more items from them.

I love coming by this small hardware shop. They’re pretty good and I’ve been able to find some stuff here that’s even cheaper than Amazon, like the Milwaukee wrench I ended up buying. I shop here more than Home Depot due to the convenience of location. And in true hardware store fashion, it is also dog friendly. And good folks too—I had a key made here and it didn’t work when I got home so they remade it for free.
