I would give zero stars if I could. They put a hold on a mobile deposited check. 500 bucks. Called over 10 ppl with customer service and the banks themselves. Zero help. No reason for the hold. My boss said they took the funds from her BECU account the day after I deposited the check. No one knows why they are holding it. They said 9am next day deposit. Then it said may 22nd. Then may 26th. Still nothing. They claim they can't cancel it. I couldn't buy food or pay bills that are now late. Once it deposits I will be closing my account. This bank is horrible. Zero problems for almost 4 years. Until they stole my money. Wow

I've been with Key Bank since the 90s and am very happy with their service overall. Unfortunately this branch is total s**** staffed by rude employees (minus Walter who used to work there and was dope) who hate poor people. Don't dare tell them you're trying to do something with government disability benefits or section 8, you'll automatically get treated like a child. Doesn't even matter if you're not the low income one yourself and are just trying to be helpful. They won't deny you service or anything, but with the unbelievable patronizing attitude, do you really want to go there?

No 24 hour ATM at all. It's 2019, get with the program. I know it's a historic location and all. But you could surly build an outdoor ATM out front. Too cheap or couldn't care less. This bank is always under staffed. Always. The staff that is there is awesome.

If someone writes you a check drawn on this bank; expect to pay $7.50 to cash it. Gotta love capitalist greed.

Very convenient place to do banking in the heart of Downtown Seattle in Pioneer Square. Though I would not recommend going in 30 minutes before closing since it gets hectic and becomes a panic type situation. Bankers and tellers are helpful. The bank itself looks like an actual inside of a federal court house or museum.

Dishonest bank that doesn't honor it's offer. I opened an account in this branch and met all conditions for a cash bonus. The bonus was supposed to be credited into my account within 90 days of account opening, so far 180 days passed and I called the bank three times so far no bonus. They tried to utilize every opportunity to make a dime out of you: When I opened up the account, I specifically asked the banker not to open a credit line with my account, instead they still opened up one. Having used a bunch of other banks, never see another bank doing business in such a dishonest way. NOT GOOD!

Keybank is not the best bank. They seem to openly discriminate and "hold funds" for ridiculous reasons. Holding funds when they have the check right there and access to call your employer that you literally just came from is beyond stupid. I hope to see a lot more people switching banks. I am now in the south and will be using another bank as well.

Marcus Kennedy, branch manager at the Queen Anne Key Bank was extremely helpful today! I had some fraudulent activities on my account and he went above and beyond customer service helping me call and check on the status of my case and helping me get my account back to normal

I have banked with key bank for over 10 years, and it has been my favorite! But i gotta tell ya, i will avoid 2nd Ave dt Seattle location as much as i can!! It's like every transaction is a new one. Make sure to count your change! Even tho I see the same people there I will turn around and go to a different one everytime!

This is the worst bank you can possible do business with. Not this branch, but Key Bank in general. They will nickel and dime you to death with all kinds of fees. Yes, this bank has an inactivity fee; Avoid this bank like the plague.

A solid branch. Needed to make a deposit on Sunday night and the ATM area here was very slick. You need a Key debit card to even access the room the machine is located in. Very secure, and I like that. Parking available on site at no charge for customers is a bonus as well. Very nicely done Key.

I banked with Mountain West Bank prior to moving to Seattle and loved them. So having to change from my small local branch had me really worried. I didn't want the impersonal big bank experience which had bothered me in the past. I ended up choosing Key because my employer used them and they offer discounted theater tickets to members. (I'm a s***** for the theater) I love my bank. They were understanding when I told them I had 20mins before my bus to get the account. They got me in and out and I didn't feel taken. Then a few weeks later the banker calls me to see how I am doing! He remembers me and mentions something we had discussed the day he set me up. I'd never felt so cared about by a bank. I am happy to have my money there and will keep going back to the 2nd and Marion location for all my banking needs.
