Went in there 1/15/2025 and there was only one teller. I waited over 20 minutes to be helped. Decided to leave after 20 minutes. I am considering switching to another local bank soon because of this.

I would give zero stars if I could. They put a hold on a mobile deposited check. 500 bucks. Called over 10 ppl with customer service and the banks themselves. Zero help. No reason for the hold. My boss said they took the funds from her BECU account the day after I deposited the check. No one knows why they are holding it. They said 9am next day deposit. Then it said may 22nd. Then may 26th. Still nothing. They claim they can't cancel it. I couldn't buy food or pay bills that are now late. Once it deposits I will be closing my account. This bank is horrible. Zero problems for almost 4 years. Until they stole my money. Wow

I wish i could give it zero stars. This is by far the worst bank and branch ever. Noone has been of any help to me at this location, which is where I deposited a check. That disbursement check was made available for literally 30min and then taken away and placed on a hold for 5 days. This was a check from a legitimate company. One that i needed immediately, but now I'm in a bad situation because of whomever decided to take the money back out of my account. I was told before depositing the check that it would be available next day, which is why I decided not to cash it first, which I discussed with the teller. This has been humiliating and has caused me a lot of tears and distress. Please don't put your money in this bank. You might not be able to access it when you need it most. The 800 number wasn't any help either. All they did was send me to 2 different branches with no resolution. What's the purpose of having 24/7 customer service if you can't actually help your customers. Thankful for Andrew and Brian from another branch, Ballard, that has truly tried to help me. They are also frustrated with the lack of knowledge that the First Hill/Madison Street location has as well. It's inexcusable and just downright wrong to do this and not have a resolution, whether it was done in the back office or by a teller. I am so disappointed, and to think I was initially excited about being a part of this bank. So much for that!!!

On December 21 I did an international wire and the following day my account is locked everyone was telling me to contact the branch that I did the wire unfortunately no one is willing to help me they don’t answer my phone calls I have been to the branch a couple of time but they said it’s out of there control, keep in mind that I asked the lady that she did the wire if I am allowed to do an international wire or not, she told me that I can do the wire. But then when I ask her to fix it she told me that she is new and she is not familiar with international wire. I am very disappointed my account has been locked for 7 days .

Appologies for typos, i couldnt proof whay i was typing.Not overly impressed. I returned the managers call regarding my new account. After explaining four (4) times to thr person filtering phone calls I was finally able to let her know my ATM card didn't make it in and I needed direct deposit information for my accounting department. She said she ordered a new ATM.cqed and would email m6 direct deposit forms. The next day, no email, no spam. I call again and get questions by the person answering thr phone. Claiming she can assist me. After explaining 3 times my situation and spelling my last name, saying it twice ahe putnyyr phone down, got back on to tell me she would do some investing and call me back. I'm still waiting for a call back...is this how key back does business? Should I just say unkey it and find another bank...I mean for eeal....

I came into this location and there wasn’t anyone there, so I go to the teller Bethany Goad. I had a ripped 20$ bill but it was over 75% of the bill and she refused to exchange it. I looked up on the department of mint website that I could exchange it at any bank. But I didn’t argue with her because she had such a icy personality. I also had about 40 1$ bills and I kindly asked her if she could give me 2 20$ bills, she asked in the rudest way possible do you have a account here. I said my mom does she says that’s not you so no I can’t. When I told my mom she was appalled she told me she has 20,000$ in CDs and quite a sizable bank account she’s closing out all her accounts at key bank. Thanks Bethany Goad I don’t know how she’s the lead teller because she has the worst customer service I have ever received at a bank the way she talk to me was deplorable
