The way keybank runs their operations is cringe and funny. Over complicated deposit system. Unprofessional glorified tellers. Always asking me to get a loan or credit and it getting annoying. Get 10 calls a day regarding some stupid credit card and saving accounts. Useless products and they keep pushing it. System so messy even the worker don’t know what they’re doing. These banks don’t feel professional. Unlike chase, us bank, and bofa their branches are updated to modern looks these banks feels like you walked in a homeless shelter. At chase you see the bankers for 5+ years. At keybank it’s like speed dating.

If you're trying to open an account at KeyBank make sure you have money because these people here will treat you like you don't. I tried to make a complaint against one lady and unfortunately they will not disclose her name but Landon Hughes just wanted to make sure his name he was mentioned and he was very rude also. All I was looking to do was to exchange my $20 that had been ripped. But because I did not have an account with them they would not do it. I asked you to start an account and the first words out of her mouth was do you have money? Yes lady I have money, I have more money than you. An awful experience just to try to exchange a $20. I do have to give a shout out to Christian the security guard who was the only professional employee as well as very kind and the bankers should take note from him. I just asked a gentleman who has account to exchange it for me and let's see if they turn their customer down.. NOPE would not do for their own customer.. Key Bank you suck.. **My response to "owner".. You really should retrain your bankers in customer service.. To respond to a potential client, who is also a business owner, when asking to open an account and the first question asked is if I had any money? I mean really? Why would I open an account if I didn't have any money? SMH

I am having a horrible customer service situation at keybank belltown. Addisu the manager had me close my sons account and open a new one to get my son a new debit card and then after the card arrived said it wont work! Then Daniel called me and was not willing or able to help me and wouldn't give me his name or email? I was like wait im supposed to give you ALL my personal info and you cant give me your key bank branch email? Then he called back and said I was right and gave me his email. They are inept and don't know what they are doing over there.

The manager is a j**** Each time I made a credit card payment using my debit card I was charged an insufficient funds fee of $35, even though I had the funds. I've closed my account - these people are thugs.

The tellers are super friendly and in touch with local, neighborhood related issues. They seem to know all of their customers by name. I've very appreciative of them.

James was awesome, helping me close some accounts and upgrading another. Took the time to educate me about my options with no pressure at all. I love this branch. Key bank has been very good to me over the years.

Worst bank ever. Fees for everything. Do yourself a favor and find a bank that cares and doesn't nickle and dime you for everything. Their "premium" service line for high account balances is offered free for any account balance by competitors. I opened an account with them with $50, and within three months without touching it, they managed to drag it down 40% in value with fees. Go elsewhere.

The staff is super friendly and the branch smells like flowers and coffee. Yummmm. Unfortunately, the ATM isn't available after hours but at least you won't find any homeless bums in there after hours. I'd rather have a clean ATM than one that smells.

The teller at this branch vocalized my transaction, a deposit into my business checking account so loudly the rest of the customers in the bank could hear it quite clearly. And the second teller I spoke to the next day, upon my return to complain, told me my balance out loud instead of writing it on the back of a deposit slip or other piece of paper, which is the proper and secure way of conveying personal banking information while at the window. Luckily there was no one else in the bank at the time. I complained to the acting manager that day and left my contact information. I have not received a return call from the branch manager to date.

Friendly, helpful Belltown branch at !st & Wall is much more professional than the 2nd & Madison one and it is open Saturdays. Sometimes has bonuses for opening personal or business checking accounts (I made $375 by opening both last year!).
