The staff and location are the reason for 5 stars. To be honest, the dealings they had with their administrative people trying to resolve my issue was infuriatingly impossible, though

Thank you Mustapha and Engel for such great customer service! They informed me of a promotional offer that I had been looking for but didn’t know about. I came in just looking to make a quick deposit but got more value from the trip than what I anticipated. Mustapha and Engel were professional, friendly, and really listened to my concerns and addressed my needs. Will definitely be going to this branch in the future for the great service.

I would give zero stars if I could. They put a hold on a mobile deposited check. 500 bucks. Called over 10 ppl with customer service and the banks themselves. Zero help. No reason for the hold. My boss said they took the funds from her BECU account the day after I deposited the check. No one knows why they are holding it. They said 9am next day deposit. Then it said may 22nd. Then may 26th. Still nothing. They claim they can't cancel it. I couldn't buy food or pay bills that are now late. Once it deposits I will be closing my account. This bank is horrible. Zero problems for almost 4 years. Until they stole my money. Wow

The ATM drive through ate my card and when I went into the bank right after they told me they couldn't do anything for me and that it was too bad. Don't go here whatever you do!

No teller in the building. While management sits at their desk watching as the line grow. Makes me want to switch banks.

The drive-thru ATM is trash. The touch screen barely works. Having to touch it over and over and over again to register a button push.

A year or so went in to get a personal home equity type loan and was approved. Great...paid off some higher interest loans, but a couple months later my wife goes why is Key taking 10 bucks a month out of your savings? Thought there were no fees on that account. Some how when I got the loan they changed my account to a fee based account. Cost was 30-40 bucks until she caught it. Bad on me for not monitoring the account better. More resently, my wife was asking about a 50 dollar fee on the loan in addition to the interest. I guess I did not read the fine print or forgot because the fee was a yearly fee for having the loan open. Bad on me again. To help end the fees I went in with a few thousand dollars to pay down the loan. Banking agent asked if it was for my CC account, I said no, it's for the personal loan. The CC account has and had a zero balance, so why pay that down. Now my wife is on top of those Keybank statements and she asked why I had paid down the CC account when it was zero and now -. How about I just transfer it to the loan. Oh cant do that unless we want to pay 10 fee for taking cash out of the CC. Not OK, so another trip to the bank, where the teller let's me know that she cant reverse the process and she has to send the request to some other place. I explained that I wanted the money applied to the loan with no transfer fees. So 4 days later I got an update email on the status of the reversal. So a week goes by and I notice that the funds were put into my checking account. Me thinking they would move it to the correct loan as requested and it never did. So I took care of that today. Banks apply interest on a daily basis, they cheated me out of a few weeks of interest charges on top of everything else.

The one-star review goes completely to the Manager, Taj. One of the most incompetent, lazy, unprofessional individuals I've ever seen. I've seen many teller come-and-go due to his lack of management and ability to lead a team. He borderline harasses his employees and snubs clients he doesn't seem worth to interact. He also takes waaaaay too many personal calls that everyone in the bank can hear. There are many Tellers that can easily replace him, and should. Keybank needs to hire within and take out the trash.

Key Bank - Avoid this small, local, Seattle bank. For nearly six years, I have tried to collect a small amount of money, and to close the trust account here, belonging to my deceased godparents, of which I am the undeniable and undisputed trustee and beneficiary. Despite my trust attorney receiving and following exact instructions from the legal department of Key Bank, in the end, Key Bank denies me the measly $301. Remember, I have been trying to collect this money for almost six years. Unbelievable.
