Why would you advertise that you are open from 9-5pm on Saturday, and you are not open?

I'm glad there is a Key Bank in West Seattle Junction. Since the parking lot has been converted to pay parking, I don't really like doing my banking there. I don't understand why the bank hasn't tried to get the city to remove the tent dweller near their drive-through. I feel unsafe walking in that area.

The concept of banks are the same but people aren't. In my short time banking with this branch Calder O' and Linda J. have gone out of their way to assist me twice and I can't thank them enough. Rebuilding after ID theft is tough, but having people you trust at your bank is a great way to start. Great experience, thanks guys.

I never interacted with anyone from this bank and then I'm trying to catch a bus and some white male walks up to me and asked me what I just heard and tried to pin me for doing firecrackers???? Are you kidding me. I will neeeevvvveeeer do business with this bank and if that's the type of employees they have working there they can keep there business.

If you are thinking about opening an account at KeyBank, just don't. Please save yourself a ton of grief and just go open an account at any credit union in town. Stay away from KeyBank. I'm just one more person here with the rolling overdraft fee situation. What you see when you check your balance and transactions online and what Key Bank is doing behind the scenes are two completely different things. You can deposit $600 on a Friday afternoon, and it won't clear for 4 or 5 days. Seriously. But if you check your balance online it shows that the deposit cleared. So there you are thinking you have a little cash in the bank, when in reality KeyBank is behind-the-scenes bouncing check after check after check on you. Not only do they have the $37 overdraft fee, they also will charge you a $28.50 fee for just being overdrafted. I would think that the balance shown online should match up with the balance with Key Bank. The situation is misleading at best, criminal theft at worst. KeyBank was a plaintiff in a massive class action suit a few years ago regarding overdraft fees. I don't think they learned their lesson. They make you think your purse is full, in the meantime they're behind you picking your pocket. I wouldn't be surprised if another class action lawsuit isn't in the works. If there isn't, there should be. The Key Bank corporation is as crooked as a bucket of snakes. And if you are a female who just loves to get mansplained, go talk to the branch manager here. Spend 5 minutes talking to him and you're ready to go home and take a Silkwood shower. The only redeeming quality this branch has is one teller who has been there for years, I think her name may be Pat. Unfortunately she's out having surgery for a number of weeks.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! The branch manager didn't even know how to properly set up a business account. And while the tellers were friendly and tried to be helpful, they improperly credited payments to the wrong account and were unable to process transactions accurately. Once upon a time, KeyBank was the kind of local bank a small business owner like myself could have a professional relationship with. Now, the are posing as a big bank but their processes aren't even what they once were.

It's your average run-of-the-mill Key Bank. I won't get into the corporate policy of the company, but will keep this to this particular branch. Needless to say, aside from the occasional tidiness issues, there really isn't anything wrong with the place. Large safe deposit vault. A number of teller windows, but usually only two or three (max) tellers at any given time. As a result, at busy times there may a bit of a wait. People there are nice folks.

Julie and Sarah is normally who helps me at this branch and they have always gone out of their way to make sure my banking experience is the best. From the first time I came here and opened my account with I believe his name was Julian, I genuinely enjoy these employees. I came in to open a basic checking account and Julian added a promotion to my account that after a few months with my direct deposit from work, key bank gifted me $300 for opening the account. In addition, whenever I come in no matter what issue over the last six months of banking I have had- big or small Julie and the team here always are informative, understanding, and do their best to deliver great customer service. Thanks Key Bank West Sea!

Honestly wouldn't have thought it possible for a bank to be this awful. It's not my primary bank but I opened an account here for a bonus deal.. but my god literally everything has been a hassle, from opening the account to making deposits or transfers. Not only that but I actually visited this location for the first time and the bank tellers treated me like an alien.. reaching a level of rudeness I've never encountered with ANY business before. Legitimately blew me away.

My first grade teacher taught us "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all," so let me start with what I like about this branch. The tellers and bankers are very nice and pleasant to deal with, I always feel well cared for while I'm in the bank, and I love those little melt-away mints in their Key Bank packaging. I usually take two. Let me also admit this straightaway: I don't read fine print. And also: I tend to balance my accounts by looking at the sum of money in the account according to the mobile app and subtracting the sum of money from pending transactions The pleasantness of the bankers and my own difficulties with finances and understanding financial documents are the two biggest reasons this review isn't a one-star review. Here's why it isn't a five star review: 1. The corporate policies of Key Bank in general have changed often enough over the last five years that an overdraft fee which was then $16 is now $37. 2. Of the pleasant tellers, there seems to be only one who knows what she's doing and doesn't try to sell me bank products every time I go in. 3. When I opened a savings account at the suggestion of one very pleasant banker it turned out to be the wrong product for me and inapplicable to my situation. 4. The same banker tried to sell me a line of credit although I am on disability and my automatic deposit is $911 per month. I was turned down for the line of credit. A few months later he tried to sell me the same line of credit. He didn't recognize me or remember anything about my situation. 5. Only after a particularly messy rolling overdraft situation did any of the very pleasant people mention that Key Bank's Hassle Free checking have no overdrafts. This is after five years of me miscalculating and having overdraft charges applied, and them trying to sell me "overdraft protection". Overdraft protection means that they will apply any money from another account that you have. If you have any money in another account. What are they protecting you from? Their own fees. 6. I had all my bills set up on automatic monthly payments. In October of this year one check did not arrive at its destination. Though Key Bank had mailed it, the very pleasant teller informed me that there would be a $37 charge to cancel the check. And that they would wait 90 days before returning the money to my account. AND that they could not close my checking account in the meantime. Still with me? 7. In November when I got the social security payment, I went into the bank. I paid the $37 to cancel the check. I did the paperwork to have the check cancelled. The very pleasant teller said it was done. I did the paperwork to have my account closed. The VPT said she couldn't do it that day but would do it when my rent check cleared and that she went through her paperwork every day and would close it as soon as the rent check cleared. The rent check cleared. Yay! I took the rest of the money out. Yay! I would never overdraft again! Ya--what? 8. On December 1st, a forgotten automatic Patreon Account payment hit the account. $37 overdraft. It was waived, but the account should have been closed on schedule. After waiving the fee, the teller told me I need to call back tomorrow to remind them to close the account. So I should read the fine print on every banking product, trust only what's on paper, not what the tellers and bankers say, be suspicious of banking products, and though I did the paperwork and watched the teller cut up the card on my account over two weeks ago, it is incumbent upon me to call this branch and make sure that the account is closed? Lessons learned. And most of the $300+ dollars I've paid in overdrafts this year due to misinformation, lack of disclosure, and not reading the fine print has been refunded by the bank. But are the tasty little meltaway mints really worth it?

Go with Wells Fargo.
