The good: Very nice, helpful staff that will go above and beyond to be helpful.The not-so-good: the fees are very high compared to other banks and the exchange rate for a foreign currency order was much worse than the competition.

My husband and I were warmly welcomed into Keybank's Ballard location last year and, through the process of opening a few accounts, it felt as though we were good friends being welcomed to a nice dinner party. In particular, Relationship Manager, Brian Jaynes, is the friendly, knowledgeable, go-above-and-beyond type of customer service rep that you only expect to find managing the concierge desk of a fine hotel or cruise ship. Brian, and his super helpful colleague, Joe, among others, continue to be invaluable assets in helping us manage our accounts and navigate banking, and we greatly appreciate the kindness and sincerity in answering all our questions and banking needs. Bravo to Ballard Keybank and their extremely customer-service-oriented team of nice people!

Banking here for 15+ years. LOVE that many of the staff has been there years. They make it feel like a neighborhood bank. Our personal and business accounts are here and we appreciate our relationship together with Key!

I switched to KeyBank from Wells Fargo, and opened my accounts in this branch. Never had an issue. Theyve always been friendly and beyond helpful with me. Everyone has unique banking experiences, but Ive also been with BoA and a couple banks in the past that are now gone like Wachovia, and honestly.... KeyBank has been my best experience ever.

Brian is horrible at his job, was not helpful and looking to steal money from people to cash a check from Key Bank. Run to another bank they are very rude and want you pay to get your own money from that bank. I will advise everyone i know to change banks. I also overheard they were over charging a person in line and that person, would have to come back and spend time to change things around so they would stop unfairly charging them.

I can use the ATM for free at 7-11's but their machine was down for the weekend so I decided to go next door and use the Key Bank ATM. I knew there would be a non-member fee but was shocked to see a $4 charge. I needed money right away and was sporting a bad leg so I bit the bullet and paid the fee but I will tell anyone and everyone I know to stay away from this Bank. I noticed a ton of bad reviews for them and I seriously hope this bank goes out of business.

Very friendly. Tried to get a boat loan with these folks. They never refused or accepted us, just flat out dropped the process all together. Submitted the paperwork and never heard back. Not sure what went wrong, was going great until it stopped going all together.

Worst bank I have ever been a part of. Customer service is horrible. I applied for a HELOC and it took 3 months to finalize. I set up time to finalize and sign all the paperwork and the banker forgot about us, making us wait for 20 minutes before seeing us, when we had agreed on a time to see him. I am dumbfounded at how this bank, let alone this branch, exists. If it weren't for their low interest rates, I would have gone elsewhere.
