Had to go here twice when I moved to Seattle, first to withdraw cash for the movers, then to get a Cashiers's check for the first month's rent.The staff were very helpful each time.

I actually would like to give them ZERO stars.I opened an account here after being told that the funds would be available in 1-2 business days. I chose Key for this reason.I opened an online account to find that this is not true and around 10% of my money was available. I called customer service for help with this and to inquire about why Zelle was not working for them.I was not helped with Zelle as they could not find a problem and then when I was in the process of speaking to them about the missing funds in my account, I was hung up on!I spoke with customer service again and they informed me that there is never only a 1-2 day hold that it is usually a 5 business day hold for all new accounts. I was also told to speak with the branch manager.I spoke with the branch manager who then told me that it was a back office hold and not a branch hold and he would escalate this.As I was waiting for the response from the branch manager, I called customer service to try to fix zelle with a different agent.She informed me that there was a form that needed to be filled out and that it would take 20 days to be completed. SO now I can't even use Zelle to access my emergency money that I need ASAP for my SAFETY. This was ALL relayed to the bank.So after waiting an hour and a half, the branch manager says that there is nothing he can do.So here I am in a financial emergency that requires CASH for my SAFETY asap and Key Bank cannot issue my money from a more prestigious institution.DO NOT USE KEY BANK. ESPECIALLY IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

Edit:Bank reached out and offered to cover my parking ticket and tried to make everything better. Can't complain about a company who goes out of their way for their customers like that.-----Original review:Would've given it a one-star, but my complaint isn't because of anyone's incompetence. It took nearly 30 minutes to deposit a couple money orders and purchase a cashier's check. There was no line, I saw a teller right away, and because of something to do with the limitations of my "Hassle Free" Checking Account, it took 4 people (including them verifying with another branch) to NOT be able to get my cashier's check and finally have them purchase it from my savings account.It took a pretty unreasonable amount of time and I got a $44 parking ticket because my parking had expired. I fully understand that I was responsible for not paying for enough parking time, but I'm just really, really bothered that a very simple banking process took so many people and so much time to make work. No one was rude or anything and I'm sure it's just some sort of glitchy issue in their system or something, but I've had these sorts of hangups ROUTINELY at any Key Bank branch in which I'm doing anything other than depositing money.Likely switching banks soon. Their "Hassle Free" checking account has been nothing but a hassle.

Wow, what awful service! No teller in sight. Waited 6 minutes. Still no one. 2 people at their desks nearby completely ignored me when I asked for help. And their ATM charges $4 fee. Don't waste your time coming here.

Try another branch. I call constantly to speak with my “personal banker” but never get a returned phone call when she can’t seem to find what she needs . I had an incident happen with mail coming to my place and instead of being understanding and trying to figure out a solution they were just condescending and rude. I opened a card specifically with this bank, and less than two months later am already looking into closing it.

I technically have an account with Key but it's an online version and apparently I don't count!All I wanted to do was buy some silver dollars and pennies. I feel unwelcome in my neighborhood! If I were ever going to be a future customer, pushing me away doesn't make me want to be! I guess this is 21st Century customer service or should I say lack thereof!

Went in on a Sat. to make a deposit. I was the first customer that day and they proceeded to ignore me and then vacated the lobby to do who knows what in the back. Aside from utter ignorance, this probably constitutes a security oversight, shouldn't at least 1 person from the bank be overseeing the lobby while the bank is open?? This place does not offer good customer service and it's enough to consider changing banks.
