I would give zero stars if I could. They put a hold on a mobile deposited check. 500 bucks. Called over 10 ppl with customer service and the banks themselves. Zero help. No reason for the hold. My boss said they took the funds from her BECU account the day after I deposited the check. No one knows why they are holding it. They said 9am next day deposit. Then it said may 22nd. Then may 26th. Still nothing. They claim they can't cancel it. I couldn't buy food or pay bills that are now late. Once it deposits I will be closing my account. This bank is horrible. Zero problems for almost 4 years. Until they stole my money. Wow

The manager is nice and friendly.Honestly, most of the employees are really friendly and helpful.Except one. Every time I go in there & get helped by him, there's always an issue. He's rude and condescending to me every single time. Most recently, I did a cash deposit and I knew exactly how much was there. I quadruple counted it. He helped me with my deposit, and didn't deposit all of the cash. He neglected to deposit $140. I had to go back and let him know about this mistake, which he immediately questioned my honesty. Again, I counted it numerous times. So he had to go and recount his entire drawer to make sure I was being truthful. Nice. Total insult to injury. He finally got it recounted, which he never confirmed whether or not I was correct, but he did correct the mistake and deposit the cash I gave him. Yet he still tried to shift blame on me, by telling me that I shouldn't have put my deposits into separate piles because I guess that confused him... (?) I separated it into the various accounts I was depositing.That should not have caused an issue.He turned what should have been an easy deposit into a far more difficult & frustrating transaction, then tried to put blame on me for his mistake.To be frank, you need to let this guy go. He's rude and not good at his job. He's giving this branch a bad rep. I will likely go back to this bank, but I absolutely refuse to ever interact with this guy again. He will not touch my money ever again.I've been banking with key for 23 years. This is the worst employee I've ever interacted with in my time with the bank.

This place is literally the most unprofessional bank I’ve ever witnessed in my 30 years of life. ESD unfortunately partners with KeyBank for their debut cards, and that means that you have to deal with them from time to time. The First Hill and South Seattle KeyBank locations both allow you to withdraw over $1000 in one transaction through the teller. If you go to this location, they tell you you can only withdraw that amount on the ATM, even though the ATM doesn’t exceed withdrawals over $800. After I told the employees this, he looked puzzled and basically told me there was nothing to do other than to make multiple withdrawals, which I didn’t want to do because it probably wouldn’t work. It’s just bad customer service, poor management, and even worse attitudes. When you have a massive, corporate bank that has inconsistent polices it makes it really tough on the customer. A shame all around.

Everyone is courteous and super friendly. They greet me warmly when I go in AND as I leave. Tellers are very friendly and professional. I LOVE my bank!!

IM HIGHLY UPSET! How They Closed my Account a day before my payday which of course I have direct deposit !Which made me unable to pay for my hotel which I've been staying in since my apartment caught fire ! is it legal to close my account because littered ? please give me your input on how I should handle this situation I still haven't received my money and it's been three and a half weeks thank you. If anyone out there and knows what to do about this please let me know.

Convenient location and minimal wait time ( <1min), the teller helping me was sweet and helpful, but the 1 star is for the customer service provided by who I assume is the Branch Manager. I came in because I left my wallet in another city and was waiting for it to be mailed back to me, I didn't need to cancel or order a new card. Just needed cash to tie me over until then. I came with my work ID and a copy of my birth certificate. She immediately denied me and gave no explanation. I had to prod for further clarification and they gave me $20, which she said they weren't allowed to do in the first place. She was rude, dry, and dismissive in her answers which is very frustrating given the circumstance. I understand legal processes, and would have been fine had the customer service been better. What if I had no money to buy a new ID (you need an ID to pick up your new card from any branch)? Regardless, everything/everyone else was great and kind.
