Kiko worked with me and my mom 1:1 over the course of 3 different wedding dates for a beautiful custom dress. It fit me like a glove and honored the Filipino-American aesthetic I wanted. I even got TWO looks in one: for the ceremony, I had traditional veil and Maria Clara sleeves. For the rest of the evening, I got my chic, modern, athletic dress! Everyone was wowed at the dress, and it was totally worth it to get something custom, and I can't wait to pass it on to my daughter or someone else special in my family. Kiko is great at his craft and you'll be well taken care of.

If I could post zero stars I would. I went to him to see if he could alter my wedding dress. His place of business is his home. That's not really the issue though. He stepped on my dress twice and didn't apologize. He also suggested I lose 10 lbs....full stop. I had already told him I was in the process of losing weight for the wedding however to tell someone how much to lose is beyond inappropriate. In addition as I was walking out he was insistent on telling me that he only takes cash for alterations. Now it would be one thing if I walked in there slovenly, but I came to a place of business expecting that individual to be a professional. However, the entire time he gave off the air that he was doing me a favor and not exchanging money for a service. He kept suggesting easier ways to alter my dress instead of truly fixing it so that he could save time. I would not go to him for an alteration ever. Thank God I found someone better.

I knew from the beginning that I wasn't going to like a traditional wedding dress. I wasn't planning to have a traditional wedding. I went to two dress appointments at boutiques in Seattle and I was very disappointed in the lack of "unique" gowns - something with color or pattern, with cap sleeves, ankle or tea-length, or a high neck. I was not interested in an ivory or white gown. I'm a pale person and getting married on the Oregon Coast I was concerned I would blend in with the background. Enter Kiko. I found Kiko House of Couture through an article on Brides.com for the best Seattle bridal salons. A custom dress sounded like the perfect solution, but I was hesitant about the cost. I sent an inquiry to Kiko and he assured me we could work within my budget. I showed up with a handful of inspiration photos, a general idea of a shape, and desire for a floral pattern. Kiko made my vision come to life on the piece of paper in front of me. After a series of fittings, I ended up with the most beautiful dress I've ever worn. Stunning in its simplicity and design. It fit me perfectly. It was no easy task. I wanted an A-line frame, tea-length gown, with a boat neck, cap sleeve (that would still allow me to dance!), covered buttons all the way down the back, pockets, all in a cotton floral fabric I discovered on Etsy. Most importantly, throughout the process, I didn't worry about the dress - whether I'd like it, whether it'd fit. Kiko demonstrated such skill, precision, and confidence in his art that it eliminated my anxiety. Such a relief as a bride. The process was all about accommodating my desires for the dress. That said, Kiko provided expert advice on what would best accent my shape and enhance the style of the dress - even as far as consulting on accessories and the groom's suit. It was important to me that the dress still look like a wedding dress despite being non-traditional in almost every sense. Along the way, we even managed to convince my mom to have Kiko design a mother-of-the-bride dress. This may have been an even bigger feat than my wedding dress! My mom is a petite 5ft with narrow shoulders and struggles to find dresses off the rack. She wanted something simple and flattering. My mom had even less inspiration/vision to provide Kiko, but he still managed to create a dress that fit her perfectly, with a lightweight jacket and ultra-classy bow. She was beaming and so happy with the result.I deeply appreciate everything Kiko did for my mom and I and for being a part of my bridal experience. I will never forget his kindness, professionalism, fashion expertise, and genuine desire to make his clients happy. He's an absolute master at his craft. I would happily refer any of my friends and family to Kiko for a custom look.

Kiko is absolutely amazing! I worked with him to get my wedding dress done and he made a beautiful design that was perfect for my wedding. He was also very patient and never minded explaining things when I had questions, as well as worked within my budget. If you're thinking of getting a dress made definitely have him do it!

Thank you, Kiko, for the most unique dress. I love knowing I am the only one who will ever have a wedding dress just like this. Kiko is kind, considerate, and very helpful- so easy to work with. And very patient for indecisive Brides like myself who tend to change things last minute Make sure to make your expectations clear to him, and he will go from there! Lots of love!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My husband had called Kiko to inquire about making a custom wedding dress as I felt I was running short on time to find a wedding dress. Kiko asked for a pictures of dresses I was looking at, when I needed the dress by, and our budget. After I texted the info. Kiko immediately replied saying he could do it and he'd have my dress ready weeks before my deadline. I think I met with Kiko five times. The first was to draw up the dress and pick the fabrics. It was awesome to see the dress drawn out before my eyes. The second time was to take measurements and the third was the fitting of the muslin. The fourth was a fitting of the dress. The fifth was a the last fitting. Working with Kiko was painless and easy (whereas I found dress shopping to be difficult). He listened to what I wanted and made me feel like what I wanted was doable and beautiful. The dress was beautiful and fit me beautifully. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was truly the best experience. Not only did he create a beautiful dress, he even helped me figure out how to style my hair and what accessories I should wear on my wedding day (these were things I had not given much thought to). He also made me a simple veil which did add much needed drama to my dress. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and Kiko was a big part of making that happen. Do yourself a favor and get your dress made by Kiko. You won't regret it!

I couldn't find a wedding dress that I liked anywhere, and even if I did, I'd have to pay a fortune to have it altered to fit my very petite frame. So I gave up and decided to have it custom made by Kiko. He was very patient with me even though I was super picky about the fabric (I don't like lace and florals, which obviously is a huge problem when it comes to wedding dresses). Kiko even let me pick out sample patterns from online websites and explained what worked and didn't for each. Anyway, I didn't have any luck finding a non-floral patterned fabric that worked so I took a leap of faith and went with this large broken floral patterned fabric Kiko suggested. The dress turned out beautifully!! Kiko also said that fabric looks great in photos, and he was right as well! The dress looked stunning in the wedding photos! The price was also extremely reasonable - even better than what some stores were selling the dresses at before any alterations. Highly recommend!

Kiko is a true artist. After searching relentlessly for a wedding dress that didn't exist, I decided to have a dress custom made. It turns out that there are very few designers who create courture bridal gowns in PNW, and I ended up finding Kiko via his amazing Google reviews. The only problem is that I live in Portland, and he's in Seattle. However, after a few phone calls and email exchanges, I went to meet him at his in home studio. I am an extremely picky customer, but Kiko assuaged all of my fears and listened carefully to my feedback. I had a tall order and a complicated design idea. I admit that I was nervous, when looking back I had no reason to be - my gown turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. It was worth every drive to Seattle, every fitting, every ounce of (unsubstantiated) worry. The material and craftsmanship are gorgeous and immaculate, and the finishing is stunning. My wedding dress is a real keepsake that I hope my daughter might want to wear someday. SO! If you have the trust, you should definitely let Kiko bring your vision to life. You won't regret it - he's a genius. Thank you Kiko!!!

Kiko made my wedding dress dreams come true!! I too, looked at Yelp when I began my search for the best wedding designer and/or boutique in the Seattle area. I checked out several of the boutiques but all the dresses seemed so "bridal" - typical and nothing special. Based on Kiko's perfect reviews, I had a meeting with him. I described my vision and he instantly brought it to life in a stunning sketch. At that point, my fiancé and I had a good feeling about moving forward with Kiko and the process began. I was not an easy customer - meticulous and perfectionistic to say the least. Kiko was fantastic - always attentive and receptive to my feedback, working tirelessly to create my dream dress. Over a period of several months, he brought the dress to life in the most spectacular way and much better than I ever could have imagined. On my wedding day, I felt confident and beautiful in the dress - just as you should as a bride!! I live in Pullman (about 5 hours from Seattle) and Kiko was always super accommodating with scheduling fittings. I could only come to town on the weekends and he always made himself available. Due to my work schedule, I often had to request that fitting days or times be changed and he was accommodating always without any complaint. I would recommend anyone to seek Kiko for their dress making. If I was going through this process again, I would go right back to Kiko without a doubt!! He was professional, masterful in his art, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Kiko!!

I was toying with the idea of getting a custom wedding dress. I went and saw Kiko for an initial consultation. He was very professional, helpful and informative. While I did end up deciding to get a pre-made dress, I would highly recommend Kiko for custom work - I had a lot of faith in his ability to create a wonderful gown and one that fit my vision, and felt he was great to work with.

There's truly not enough words to express my happiness working with Kiko, he's simply the best! After trying on a ton of dresses, I narrowed down that I knew I didn't want a low cut or strapless wedding dress, which is often a lot of what the stores carry. I also knew I wanted something simple that reflected me and my personality. Because I wanted all of these things for my wedding dress, I looked into custom-made wedding dresses. I was so nervous to go with a custom-made dress because I'm the type of person who wants to know exactly what I'm getting. However, Kiko was an exception and I trusted him in creating a dress I knew I would love. At the first consultation, Kiko asked me about the type of dress I was looking for and by the end of it, he had a sketch all drawn out for me! I fell in love with it instantly and though I didn't commit that day, Kiko was very supportive of me taking my time to decide if I wanted the custom-made dress. I checked in with him periodically and then took the leap! Kiko was able to incorporate the lace of the shirt I was wearing when my husband proposed to me, put my silly request of pockets into the dress and my arguably favorite component - a large bow and buttons on the back. The entire process was so easy with Kiko, always listening to my concerns and requests and providing such knowledgeable feedback at every appointment. My dress was even more beautiful and comfortable than I could have imagined, all thanks to Kiko's amazing talent! The dress felt very couture and it was simply a dream come true. If you're hesitant to have a custom-made dress...just do it! It was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding day. Thank you Kiko!!!

Kiko was awesome to work with and my dress turned out beautifully and exceeded my expectations! From the consultation to the very last fitting, Kiko listened to my concerns and addressed them as best he could. We worked together on everything, from choosing the materials to making little changes here and there. Kiko uses the highest quality materials and worked with me to keep everything within my budget. I am so glad I chose Kiko to create my one of a kind dress. My husband had the best facial expression when he saw me in my dress for the first time as I walked down the aisle. It was priceless!

If you're looking for a wedding dress around the Seattle area, look no further! When I first got engaged, I did a whirlwind weekend of dress shopping in California with my mom and sisters. By the end, every dress started to look the same, but at the same time, there was something not quite right about each one. I came back to Seattle slightly discouraged and tired of looking at dresses, but knew I had to pick something! I did a search for local bridal salons and found Kiko House of Couture. I figured I should at least meet with him--I had an idea of what I wanted, but didn't know if it would be anywhere near affordable. I am so glad I took that chance! Kiko sketched out the design based on the photos of the dresses I brought that I liked. The overall cost ended being the same price as my dress budget and he had no trouble with my wedding date, both of which were welcome news. It was fun to be so involved in how my dress looked and felt, and one of my bridesmaids and I even picked out the lace for my bodice together. Before I found Kiko, my other dress option was a (beautiful) Casablanca dress, but to have it fit in my budget, the seamstress told me I needed to order it in a standard size and drop 15 lbs--no thanks! Custom-made meant there was no stress before the wedding about the fit. Kiko is so warm and friendly and easy to work with. He was also very helpful and honest about certain dress details that would/wouldn't work for my body shape, and it great to have an expert eye making sure I looked great in my dress. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful dress!

Another wedding, another AMAZING mother of the bride dress!
