We loved the hotel. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The suite was clean and spacious. We booked the breakfast with our room and the Outlier restaurant was great! Food was always hot and fresh and the varied menu offered some excellent choices. The hotel has a great location within walking distance of anything we wanted to see. Would definitely come back when we are in Seattle again.

Stayed in the king spa room, 801. Staff at check in were super friendly. The room/bed is right up against one elevators, making for a loud rhythmic buzz & then a bang. Woke us both us in the morning. Shoulda put in earplugs, but no downtown sound was getting in, so I thought we’d be ok. The TV remote signal doesn’t reach the TV from the bed. The staff was VERY chilly when I told them the issue with the elevator. As there are two elevators not right up against rooms, seems like maybe they could turn that one off until just a little later in the morning (we were woken by this thing at 6:30am).The room was clean, hotel beautiful, big tub perfect for two. Wish they had evening room service.

We ended up staying here two weekends back to back due to events happening in Seattle this month. The first time we chose the king room and were upgraded upon arrival to the king room with the spa bathroom. The room our first stay was wonderful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We loved the wine on Friday night at 5, the lobby is comfortable with a DJ that performs during wine time, and I loved the free little library inside the lobby as well. When we returned for the second weekend I booked their premier room the Ambassador's suite. I was disappointed in this room because it was exactly the same as the room we had prior, for 200+more per night. The downside to this room was that it smelled pretty badly like cat urine. I made a statement to customer service and they waived my room charges by way of apology. The customer service on the other hand is OUTSTANDING here. The staff are VERY friendly and some of them remembered us from the weekend prior. We were upgraded twice, given free wine, and had our room charges waived. It was a wonderful experience and I really like how clean the hotel is overall. It felt safe and was in a good location, right by the underground train station at 3rd and Seneca--a train which will take you either north or south in Seattle and get you just about anywhere. It is only a 10 minute walk of the Seattle Ferry Terminal. Great location, further away from the chaos and trash of the tourist areas near the museums and right across from the beautiful Seattle Public Library.

Rockstar Stay at Hotel Monaco Seattle: Fun, Convenient, UnforgettableOur trip from Portland to Seattle for the Madonna concert was a blast, made even better by our stay at Hotel Monaco Seattle. The front desk team greeted us with smiles and got us into our room early, setting the tone for a fantastic stay.Hotel Monaco's location was spot-on, making it super easy to explore Seattle's coolest spots. But the real MVP was Leanne Larkin, the concierge with all the insider tips. She hooked us up with tickets to the Museum of Pop Culture and other must-see spots, making our trip extra special. From the chic rooms to Leanne's top-notch service, Hotel Monaco Seattle exceeded our expectations. Next time we're in town, there's no question where we'll be staying. It's Monaco or bust!

It was nice to stay in a place that wasn’t the cookie cutter HGTV looking hotels. It seems a little bit dated but has a lot of charm and style that is often missing in the big chain hotels. Love music during Happy Hour is nice along with the nice lounge area. Attached restaurant is also nice. Really tasty food and strong drinks.Food & drinks: Food was awesome and drinks were strong ?

Great hotel! I stayed for two separate weeks in two different rooms and had a great experience both times! Love that it's so dog friendly and there's no fee! They even have a gated area with a code behind the hotel to let your dog out in a safe environment with artificial turf, a gravel area, wooden platform with chairs, and umbrella covered doggy bag and trash bin area.Service here is great! Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Love their complimentary morning coffee and good quality tea bags/station, evening wine hour, and water bottles at the front desk. They also can microwave something for you if needed. The room itself has just a mini fridge. There is a nice gym, free pinball arcade machines, and valet. If you enjoy the kimpton hotels I think you'll enjoy this one!

We had a short stay in the beginning of November. The staff were wonderful and the hotel has a unique atmosphere. I got a lot of questions about art in the lobby during a work meeting, and the evening happy hour held there was great. The double queen room was comfortable for three people. It did seem like they needed some maintenance and care, but overall great.Rooms: The double queen room was comfortable for three people. It did seem like they needed some maintenance and care, but overall great.Walkability: Close to all the major attractions. About 15 minutes but there are a lot of hills.Food & drinks: The restaurant attached was okay.Noteworthy details: Evening happy hour.

This hotel is simply fabulous. Location is perfect and the staff welcoming and professional. I'd like to personally thank Jonathan, at the front desk, for his exemplary service and care of our needs from the moment we walked in until check-out. He couldn't have been more thoughtful and kind, attending to each and every one of our requests, even anticipating ways he could help us. We met the manager in the early morning hours of our check out and were so impressed with her care and professionalism. This is a fabulous hotel, wonderful amenities and top notch customer service. Thank you, Kimpton Seattle, Jonathan and the crew for all you do to make our travels so special. Hope to see you again! Many blessings, Cathy Snapp

It was a lovely and superb experience and I looooooooover every moment. From the entrance where there is a doorman to welcome you and open the doors, to the receptionist, to the elevators and the rooms.I loved the feel of the place and the interior decorations. And there was complimentary breakfast and wine (if you want it, they were surprised I didn’t use the wine voucher and sort of sad about it. Lol). Oh, and the breakfast options and the taste were absolutely wonderful.Anyway, I look forward to staying at more of your establishments around the ?? and the ? at large. Thanks for a lovely time with you. ? ? ??❤️? ?

The management here is terrible. The front desk manager Alejandra talks often about how she hates people and she makes fun of every guest she sees. I heard her make fun of disabled guests as well as employees with disabilities she has called stupid. The entire company is chaotic. The employees save your credit card information illegally. Half the staff is on drugs or drunk during their shifts. This place is way over priced for what you're getting. You will have a better time at a motel 6. You will probably get stuff stolen from your vehicle and pay for the valet, as well as you may have stuff stolen from you room. Check your credit card statements they will bill you for extra things you aren't aware of. If you have never been here then you're not missing anything great.

Small boutique style hotel with affordable pricing in Seattle. The staff are amazingly friendly here, some of the best I have dealt with in 30 years of travelling around the world. The hotel is dog friendly, however I did not hear a single bark while in my room. It's not a 2000 sq foot Vegas suite, but is comfortable and safe. Highly recommend if you are in need of a place in Seattle!Rooms: Rooms are small but clean (see video)Safety: Very safe location!

Downtown Seattle is tricky to navigate, not the fault of the hotel. The valets were very helpful and courteous, as were the desk clerks. However, there were issues with the room. The shower head felt like needles, and I couldn't adjust it. The tub bottom is higher than the floor, making it difficult and dangerous to step out of the tub. The toilet was too low. The bed was made very badly. The bottom sheet was at least four inches from the end of the bed, meaning my feet got caught in the bottom sheet, see picture. A family checked into the room next door sometime around midnight. We could hear every word and every cry from the baby. A hotel this "nice" should have better soundproofing.
