Lam's Seafood Market is a well-established Asian grocery store in Seattle, serving the community for nearly 40 years. Specializing in Southeast Asian grocery products, it offers a wide variety of live, fresh, and frozen seafood, as well as produce items that include hard-to-find exotic fruits and vegetables from countries like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Korea, and Japan. Customers appreciate the store's extensive selection of Asian foods, meats, and daily necessities at reasonable prices. However, the market is located in a challenging neighborhood, with reports of drug use and homelessness affecting the area. This has led to safety concerns, with some customers expressing reluctance to visit alone, particularly due to the presence of individuals loitering nearby. Despite the unfortunate conditions outside, many still enjoy exploring the unique flavors offered inside the store. While some prefer other Asian markets in the area, Lam's remains popular for its variety and affordability, drawing customers back from time to time.
Better than their old place in Seattle's international district.

It’s was….. exemptible. But I did not feel safe there at all because of the street for homeless people that were high. The store was not English speaking and did not have any kind of protection for the meat of fish. But the food is amazing!

Minus the crowd out front of the place...I enjoy walking through and checking out what the flavors of other countries are all about.
