Lenny’s Penny’s produce stand has been a staple in my neighborhood for quite some time. While their offerings can be hit or miss, the affordability makes up for it. Don’t expect top-tier produce, but if you’re looking for budget-friendly options, this is your spot. Just remember to consume your purchases within a few days. The staff are incredibly kind, which adds to the charm. I visit weekly for our household staples like tomatoes and cucumbers, and I also buy dill here since it’s much cheaper than at grocery stores. The store is quaint and not huge but it does the trick.

I'm so excited to have found this gem!
They have a great selection of produce, from the American classics like lettuce, tomato, onions, apples, etc., to harder-to-find veggies like garlic chives, fresh figs, lychees, many pepper varieties, several mushroom varieties, etc.-- and all of them at great prices that I wouldn't expect to find in Seattle.
They also stock a lot of international food staples, from labneh to Maggis seasoning to fresh baked rye bread to international snacks and sweets. Can't recommend it enough!
This will easily become my new favorite shop to pick up produce and other ingredients.

Such an incredible place for fresh vegetables and fruits! Prices are so much better than grocery stores and I’m so glad to support an amazing small business like Lenny’s!

Excellent selection of produce despite the small size, including several options not often found in western supermarkets (for example: Indian eggplant, chayote, green almonds). Also has a respectable number of East Asian and Mexican pantry items. Prices are very good, and the people working there are friendly.

Lately I found that the Pita breads they sell has only 5 pita breads in the pack. Even though the package clearly says 6. Seems like someone is pinching each bread from the package. Management should look into it.
Don't get me wrong it's a good place to save money but I don't like worker saving off my money.

Shopping local does not mean paying more here! Great prices and fresher produce. The Asian essential ingredients are the quality brands and more affordable than other stores. Don’t be fooled by its small size stop here first, they likely have what you need

Nice little produce store, an open air feel with the big garage door open. Good prices, competitive with the big stores. The fruit is always sweet or tart, never dull or over ripe. It's easy to like this place, and there is plenty of parking.
