I have been buying their pastries from a few of the farmers markets around town for over two years and I have never been disappointed. It is European style desserts so they aren’t overly sugary and thick, which I personally prefer since you are able to taste the flavors rather than just the sugar. No matter what you get, it will always feel light and fluffy and not too dense! My go-to has been their pear tart! It has such a good texture and spice in it and their cakes are also good! Definitely recommend this place or their stalls at the Farmer’s Markets in Ballard or Cap Hill!!

Prices not clearly listed for baked goods, make sure to ask. They’re high, even for Seattle. Goulash was also quite a small portion. It all tasted good but I won’t be back, can get similarly good food at a lower price at other shops.

I had the best cinnamon roll of my entire life here and I think about it often. I will certainly be coming back here any time I'm in town!

Menu inside the cafe (on the wall) is from 2018; all the dumplings are listed as “OUT” but haven’t been sold for over one month and there are no know plans to restock and sell dumplings at this location. In my opinion, this is misleading advertising.I got a poppy seed strudel, which was a bit dry and had an excessive amount of poppyseed (about half the pastry was made of it)The employee working who served us was pleasant, no issues with him.Overall: underwhelming

They were severely overpriced for how low quality they were! I paid $20 for all 3 at the farmer's market. And they tasted like $7 for all 3 at Safeway.First of all, the pastry used were tasteless, dry / crumbly and stale tasting. Zero hint of butter, so probably the margarine stuff. The cannoli filling was pretty passable (if it were $4).Second of all, the fillings were not fresh and homemade! Why are you charging $7?!?! The apple strudel had a strong artificial flavor taste to it. Very underwhelming and tasted like store bought paste. The raspberry jam on the tart tasted like artificially flavored jelly from the store. But it did tasted like it had fresh raspberries in it though, thank goodness for that.I was expecting something entirely different having paid $20. It blows my mind that people are paying for these!

The woman working here was super nice and charming. Unfortunately the pastries we got (kolaches) were not especially good, and the price (north of $17 for two) is just insane.I know inflation and all, but $8+ for a mediocre pastry, are you kidding???

I got to try a pastry from this spot at the Ballard farmers market, and I wasn't that impressed. My friend had recommended it saying that their rolls were especially good, and I was also told that by the girl working at the stand. Since I'm allergic to nuts I wasn't able to try the chocolate nutella one, but she also mentioned the cinnamon roll was really popular so I got that instead. The roll itself was decently sized but was almost $8 which is a bit absurd, and there was a lot of just bread. I warmed it up to hopefully help but it didn't do too much for it. The only really good part was the center which had the soft bread and gooey filling. I probably wouldn't try more items.

First, Emily is awesome. Hands down amazing. Love her.Second, when I tell you that after taking a bite of the poppyseed roll, I was transported back to my grandmother’s house like back in my childhood. The taste, the texture, everything was just oh so good. Then there was the kolach. I love cream cheese. Period. Add strawberries and you have yourself a winner. 100000% recommend. The shop is warm and reminds me of the kitchens and cafes of Eastern Europe. I think next time, I’ll stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Are you going to pay a premium here? Yes. But you can taste the love and care that is put into everything that comes out of here. It’s a treat. And life is too short not to treat yourself.
