Not a good experience lately. Bought $20 craftsman wrench a while ago, and it broke almost immediately after the bolt came out, not supposed to happen! So I put a vent nail in there for support hoping I could still use the tool. It doesn't work the same. I took it back in and the customer service rep said I couldn't return it since I had a nail in it (see pics) I have been a Lowes customer for a long time and I am not sure what they had in mind right there... The tool was unusable anyways since as soon as the bolt came off (it was under pressure and I didn't expect it to come loose, some plastic parts snapped off.) Not good customer service.

Friendly staff, The store is a bit disorganized and hectic, they probably have what you need, it can just be difficult to find

Everything is so locked down at this location it makes it almost impossible to buy anything. You want paper towels? Find someone to unlock them.Toilet paper? Find someone to unlock it.How about laundry soap? Find someone to unlock it.A $3.99 screwdriver? Yep, find someone to unlock it.Electrical Wire? You guessed it! Wait for it to be unlocked, and then have them escort you to checkout to make sure you actually purchase it.Power tool? Good luck. Chained down and requires them to take it to customer service then checkout. Even tools that are less than $10.All yard equipment is locked in cages. The list goes on and on.I understand theft is an issue, but not being able to walk in get what I came for in a timely fashion is also an issue.I have left and gone to purchase elsewhere many, many times due to not being able to find help and what I wanted to purchase being behind a locked cageA person can easily chew up an extra 30min to an hour here having to track down employees to unlock things you want. The store itself is typical Lowe's, just in a bad area. Weekends are busy and many things go out of stock frequently such as painting supplies. If you're in a hurry your best bet might be going to a different Lowe's such as Issaquah. If you do go to Rainier Lowe's however, don't forget to check out the expensive yet totally worthless security robot sitting near the front door. It's been sitting there charging and doing absolutely nothing for at least the last 6 months. I'm surprised nobody has stolen it.Maybe they should give it keys to unlock things and recommission it to helping customers,

Arbitrarily denied a return that was initiated online for being a "holiday purchase" despite it not being marked as such anywhere and it having been purchased after the holidays. They refused to scan the barcode and just decided it was a holiday bin because it has red and green on it.

Search for a new refrigerator on line to replace my dead one. Apparently one year warranty seems to be standard for refrigerators. Checked when they delivered the new is the old one hauled away. No info.

Horrible inventory - they never restock anything. The most common items they should have 1000s of are always gone. When asked about the staff shrug and say "theft". You want Pex-A sleeves? Nope. 1/2" Pex to 1/2" MNPT fitting? Nope. 1.5" ABS 90 nope. 4-inch rigid round duct? Nope. The number of times in a given month I show up here and leave the store cursing as I drive another 10 minutes to Home Depot is nuts. Pretty sure the homeless aren't stealing handfuls of ABS fittings to fence. They just suck at inventory management. Really really hate this place.

This Lowe's is huge. They have many things to offer like the lighting section is massive. The staff I talked to could be more experienced and informative. The security guard I talked to knew the layout and product selection better. Everyone was friendly though.

Big store, usually lower prices than other places but if you're trying to go here to buy new door entry sets and get them rekeyed, go somewhere else. We went over the weekend and bought multiple lock sets, hoping to get them rekeyed to the same key. Was told they don't do that over on the weekends, only during the week. Then when we came back two days later, we were told the guy who does them comes in two hours later and told to come back. Then BECAUSE I HAD A NAGGING FEELING, I CALLED and was told "we only rekey locks bought on the same day". We were finally told that they'd make an exception and "let us" come in to rekey the locks we bought literally two days ago from this Lowes. Went to McLendon's and they were wonderful and inexpensive to rekey the locks.

Note to management:- I understand the need to put things in cages. But I'm not interested in wandering around to find someone to open the cage...how about putting a human in the department. How about that human doesn't leave for break until his replacement shows up.- Why does it look like your employees are running away when you need them. Or they are dazed and confused- Hire a skilled trades person to establish what is on the shelves....so much of it is not needed. And what you need is rarely there. Especially in the tool section.- Its getting to the point where it's actually quicker to drive somewhere else

This was the worst experience. The displays of Christmas items were sad. Employees walked by with no eye contact and not asking if I needed help. Was in the kitchen area for about 20mins looking at items myself and no employee were in the area to answer any questions. My husband and I were looking at flooring talking about how we couldn't find what we were looking for, 4ft from an employee scanning items and putting it on the shelf and that employee never asked to help us and really didn't even look at us.
